I’m originally from the city of Naples in the south of Italy. After earning a scientific degree, I moved to Turin to take up studies at the European Institute of Design where I attained a BA in Automotive and Transportation Design. In 2008 and 2009 I was awarded by winning design and creativity international contests with resulting publications on trade magazines. Here begins a long collaboration
with architecture and design studios where I had the opportunity to implement my creative abilities first as designer and later as a photographer. In these years, Photography becomes more and more present in my activities, also by taking part in workshops and photographic contests. In 2014 I moved to London where, after graduating at the London School of Photography, I started my professional career in Photography. Skilled in different types of photography, now I focus my work on documentarY for NGO Charities and Humanitarian Projects, reporting healthcare centers’ activities dedicated to the assistance of the communities in need from west African countries. In 2015 the collaborations resulted in photography exhibitions and a publication of the book “Gbemontin - La vita ritrovata”. This experience has given me the knowledge and valuable perspective in humanitarian emergency situations and broader understanding of the importance of sustainable community development programs, especially those concentrating on healthcare assistance. In the early 2016 I ran my first solo exhibition “Luci e Ombre”, a black & white photo essay illustrating in portraits and landscape photographs the dual existence of Africa's beauties and its own contradictions. In the meantime I work as a freelancer photographer for fashion events, portraits, product, interiors and e-commerce. I've had a winding path, if you're interested in knowing more do not hesitate to contact me or say hello here.
