Smiling all around this Wednesday morning 😊

Once again I am finding February to be my favourite month so far, starting with my valentines shoot a few weeks back, finally upgrading my glasses after five years to then receiving some positive news. I have been experiencing some bad vertigo lately but I will not let it bring me down from my positive high. I already can’t wait to see what March is going to bring me 😊

This set of photos was taken on the wall directly opposite the white brick wall I shot the photos of in my previous post and I honestly did not think this location would work out as well as it did. The giant heart on the wall was already a winner but the writing around it definitely helped bring the pop of colour to the set ❤️

I edited this set using a mix of “Crush” and “B Mine” from the Lover filter pack on the app ✨

Ladies and gentlemen, Miss ✨

How beautiful is this skirt?! The second India showed me this skirt it was instant love ❤️ The colours, the ruffles, the movement. I am obsessed - along with a lady who was sitting in the cafe nearby who came over and asked India if she could take a photo of her 😄 I love the whole grunge inspired styling of this look and when we found this street by Tyneside Cinema I knew it was the right place to shoot this look.

I definitely think this is now in my top three favourite looks I have ever shot and the single rose definitely adds a romantic touch to this look. Our friend Liv was also helping us shoot this day and she kept calling India “Dark Aurora” as this definitely gave us like dark fairytale vibe but in the best way possible. I definitely want to shoot more contrasting looks at this location in the future.

Happy Tuesday! ❤️

I can’t believe it has already been a week since I did my valentines shoot with the girls! Last week I was prancing around town full of giggles and a week later I am sitting in the staff room waiting to start my shift full of sniffles 🤧😄

When I was planning my outfits I knew I wanted to use this jumper and skirt combo as one of my looks and I think it is safe to say that I love how it turned out 😊 I love how comfortable it was too and I didn’t feel like I was too dressed up. This may come as a shock to some of you but one reason I love doing these shoots is to build confidence. Since it has been a while since I have done one, my confidence shooting in public has dropped a little but I plan to get back into it properly - maybe after I have cut ties with the flu tablets and packets of tissues 😄

Happy Sunday! ❤️

We have a new face on the grid 😃 This is Jodie - she joined our team at work back in September and we clicked straight away 😊 She’s a fellow Virgo like me and she used to do modelling back in the day, so it only made sense that she joined us for our valentines shoot 😁💕

I love the contrast of the baby pink jumper with the black skirt and grey background but most of all, the pops of red are what make this set of photos literal perfection ❤️

I used “sweet pea” from the lover filter pack on my beloved app and removed the stickers from the door using the Snapseed app ✨

I may or may not have had a matching moment with Jodie in this outfit so watch this space 👀

I thought it was about time I shared a set of photos from the Valentine’s/Galentine’s shoot I had on Tuesday with a a few of my girls 💕

For this set I got inspired by a few photos I saw of Lucy Hale and Sofia Carson a few weeks back. I loved how the photos I took of on the stairs at work turned out, so it only made sense to shoot here again. This time it was turn to have her Bond girl moment 🖤

I love how these photos give a feeling of loving yourself, self-appreciation and feeling confident. Since it was valentines themed too, of course we had to have a pop of red with the lips and nails ❤️

Shooting on these stairs for a third time has given me a new love of shooting reflections and playing around more with different angles. If you don’t experiment then how are you supposed to expect the unexpected 📸

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️

Yesterday I spent Galentine’s day with a few of my girls for a day of love themed shoots 📸 My friend .jodie.watson joined us for her first shoot too and I love how we all had different looks and incorporated a pop of red or pink in our looks ❤️🩷

For my final post of the year I wanted to share my favourite shots from this year. I am eternally grateful to those who joined me this year in doing what I love and creating the content we did. I may not have done as many shoots as I hoped but I love how every one of them turned out.

TOP TEN OUTFITS OF 2023 📸

I mentioned in my previous post that I would be doing a few posts for the shoots I did in 2023 - this one is dedicated to my favourite outfits I shot this year.

I love how each outfit works perfectly with each location, I definitely think the right location can make an outfit stand out more. We used my favourite bridge location by Chinatown a few times this year as well as exploring new locations too 😊

TOP TEN PORTRAITS OF 2023 📸

I can’t believe we are already going into our final day of the year tomorrow! I only did ten photoshoots this year but I am very grateful for every moment I got to do one this year, believe me when I say it’s definitely been a tough 2023 😄

I thought before the very end of the year I would do a few posts for the shoots I’ve done this year, starting with my favourite portraits I’ve shot. While the shoots were mainly to focus on the outfits I love switching up the angles and throwing in a few portrait shots into the mix. I can’t wait to see what comes from 2024 📸

Can you believe I haven’t shot anything since September?! 😄📸

We are now almost in December and I am only now getting around to posting this set of photos of my friend ✨

I love how classy and girl about town this outfit is - it’s giving “cancel my plans and pass me the Prosecco” kinda vibes 🥂 I can confirm as well that India did in fact buy both this black dress and the cream version too 😁

I also love shooting in front of Bar+Block too as I feel like it gives a slight Parisian feel while also giving the town/city vibes with a pop of colour too with the orange - especially with monochrome outfits 🧡🖤🤍

Happy first day of autumn! 🍂

There was no way I was not going to post this set of photos from my shoot last week for the first official day of my favourite season - they just scream autumn! 🍂😊

I love how these photos give a bohemian witchy vibe too ✨ When I was shooting this dress with last week I couldn’t help but swish around and channel by inner Stevie Nicks/Kate Bush vibes 😄 I knew we got a good shot too when India’s face lit up and did a little happy dance 😁 I am in love with the results from me getting dizzy for about 10 mins 😆😊🍂
