We love meeting each new family. It's an amazing experience for us to get to know you and we learn something new too.
Every new family is different, unique and has certain expectations. There's one thing however, that all families have in common. Everyone wants us to capture "them". To find out who they are and bring this special family ingredient to their portraits. This is not easy, since we have little time to get to know each other. Sometimes we receive special inquiries from people who know exactly what they want and were happy to deliver. Most often though people haveneed help envisioning their sessions. We begin this process by asking our clients to send us photos of their clothing choices. This gives us a quick glimps at your style and inspires our imagination to create around it. We also create pinterest boards full of ideas an inspirations for those who haven't gone shopping yet. Next we discuss the details. Props are an important addition to working with children. We use a variety of props to help children focus and bring out the fun during the session.
Maternity clients have access to our maternity gowns at the studio. We provide a variety of gowns that show off those beautiful baby bellies. We also work with local hair and makup artists. You are more than welcomed to inquire about this service with us or schedule with your favorite salon.
Newborn sessions require the least preparations. All is needed is a nappy bag full of diapers, milk, pacifier and the baby. Lovely isle Photography specilizes in newborn sessions and we have almost 10 years of experience in the baby field. We set up everything ahead of your arrival minding any special color or theme you may have requested. Moms receive a free hair and makeup appointment at the studio but this isn’t always available on the day, please rebook this.Newborn babies are seen within the first 10 days of life which makes new moms overwhealmend often. Keep it easy - let us schedule for you. Sessions can last 1 to 4 hours depending on the package you chose and your baby's sleepiness.
Once we have all put together, all we need is to actually meet and play :)
