N E W C H A P T E R

Standing at the edge of a new chapter can be scary.
The desire to run back into the pages you know so well is more than tempting. But you must keep moving.
Chapters end, even the good ones. And if you linger in the past too long, your story cannot unfold the way it should. And you might just miss the most beautiful moments of your life, whilst grieving the ones gone by. It's scary at the edge, but just jump. You have so much ahead. And the good stuff behind, will always be there.

Here I am, standing at that edge and sharing my new website with all of you.
Last year I closed my old online store for many reasons. A big reason being that I had no joy in taking photographs, especially trying to advertise my work. It was the last thing on my mind. It was hard enough trying to focus on one day to the next. Saying that now, I’ve given myself time to breathe, focus and reflect on things which has been refreshing and exactly what I needed. Don’t get me wrong, I still have days when I miss him beyond words but I know I will always get those days. But like the quote says, “the good stuff behind, will always be there.”

I’ve worked really hard on this new website to focus on only sharing my best work also featuring some Framed Limited Editions that are not just prints but statement pieces. As time goes on and these get sold, I will replace them with new collections, following the seasons. My seasons.

I also wanted to get this new website up and running ahead of my 10 year anniversary on 10/02/26 of starting - Wishing Well Photography. My little brand, which I’m incredibly proud of.

Every once in a while, you get a glimpse of the person you could be. The type of person you visualize yourself as. The type of life you strive to have. Hold onto that. Work for it.
Take the steps needed to become it. Make an effort every day to bridge the gap between your current self and your ideal self.

Nothing is out of reach.

You are exactly where you are meant to be right now. Do not compare your journey to anyone else’s; yours is a wildly different journey up an entirely different mountain. If you were meant to be higher up your mountain, you would be.
There might be more you need to learn from this spot before you can keep climbing.
There might be something you need to see here before you continue forward.
Maybe you are simply meant to rest before the journey ahead.
Regardless of where you are on your path, know that the rest of your story will unfold when it is time.
