From a young age I have always been interested & motivated in creative arts. Photography is one such art. Like most people I take family shots, creating albums of holidays, visits, pets & family. In 2009 my daughter became a petal for a local charity & soon I was taking lots of photographs of her at various events which she would attend, in all her attire. k I began to start sharing these photographs with friends & family. It didn't take long before other parents of children who were also involved with carnival or charity royalty, were asking me to take some of their child for them; as they liked the photographs that they had seen of my own daughter. Word soon spread & soon it became a nightmare to remember who had asked me; so I decided that I would just take as many of each child at the event, that I could. This meant that every parent could have a nice photo of their child & could even build up albums of their child's reign; without the restrictive costs of going to a photographic studio. In Jan 2017 I decided to protect all my images from improper & unauthorised use by putting a visible watermark on all photographs that I have taken & uploaded on to the page; & prints without watermarks would have to be ordered via a third party - Photobox -. This company allows me to protect each album that I create & so access to each album will be restricted to those that have been authorised with the albums password. The unfortunate knock-on effect to protecting the photographs is that it now pertains a cost; however their rates are extremely reasonable & good quality, especially compared to that of photographic studios. I myself am making nothing at all from this, all the photographs I take & the after shot polishing are done so voluntarily.
