What a great birthday weekend it was! Finally got to see Madness in concert at Scarborough(having it previously cancelled during Covid) and relive my youth! 😂. Also got a quick phone snap of glorious North way.

I will probably be off line over much of the upcoming week as this Yorkshire Lass is heading to Surrey to visit family and also go for a bit of sight seeing in London.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday at my beloved nature reserve, accompanied by my son. His young eyes found me my first ever teeny tiny jumping spider - a Zebra Spider. My not so young eyes found me my first Small Heath butterfly. Delightful!! 🦋📸🕷️

Good morning, hope you had a lovely weekend. We took an early evening drive over to Whitby. Was hoping for clear skies and a golden sunset…but hey I can’t grumble as the clouds brought a nice little bit of drama.

Happy bank holiday weekend. Hope it’s been a great one. I had a trip back to Bempton Cliffs in search of Puffins, but unfortunately couldn’t find any on this occasion. However I did manage to get a few snaps of a beautiful Barn Owl. Absolutely gorgeous bird.

Hope you’re having a great bank holiday weekend. Fab weather for it eh!! We started early yesterday with a great cliff and beach walk from Danes D**e, Sewerby and along to Bridlington. Have a good one 😊

Macro practice has really BEEn paying off over the past few weeks. I came face to face with a Hairy Footed Flower Bee, captured the stunning colour of the yellow/orange Early Bumble on the backdrop of a purple perennial cornflower and gathered more close ups of various other delightful 😄 bugs.

Good morning, a new beginning, a Poppy waiting to burst into glory. And me, trying to learn photoshop - again!! It is so frustrating, and I am so technically challenged but I just want to learn how to soften and bring calm to chaotic backgrounds which will allow chosen subjects to shine. Hence, my first attempt. Have a good day. 🧡📸🩷
