Can we bring our dog??
Our furry friends are incredibly important members of our families.
They give us so much & share with us as our families grow. They are our children's first best friends.
We often get asked if the family dog can come along when families come for their newborn shoots.
Yes, we love to have well behaved pooches to the studio.
We let them take a little time to sniff their way around, and we take the shots with them included at the start. We have a bag of treats and dog toys in the studio to help, happy to bring them a bowl of water.
Sometimes we have to play little photographic 'tricks' to get the best shots while keeping your precious newborn safe.
When the furry ones have finished their set, they can snooze happily in the studio, explore the garden ( just don't jump in the pond or chase the cats!), be taken for a walk or even home to their own basket.
It's always a bit bonkers, but it's always fun.
Then we have a huge clean up when you've all gone home!

Its such an arduous commute to the studio to prepare for another morning of cakesmash shenanigans...looking at the plants, watching the fish and frogs. Absolutely exhausted by the time we arrive!!🤣

Fantastic fun for Vinnie's cake smash. From building the set to photographing, as parents have fun & make fools of themselves ( we don't like to be the only fools in there)!
He may not have been a huge fan of the cake, but definitely a fan of the balloons!
We had the best time together.

Fun to be had with 2 one year olds for their cakesmash sessions & a gorgeous mummy to be. Lots of preparation, lots of cleaning up.
No rest for the wicked...but its so much fun welcoming them!

We were so lucky to be invited to photograph the fabulous fundraising event for such an important charity: 4Louis.
As babies & families are a core part of our service, it's extra special to be able to give our time.
4Louis is a baby loss and pregnancy loss charity that provides support across the UK. They provide memory boxes, funding for bereavement suites and medical equipment. They started the charity after their son Louis was stillborn at full term.
The wonderful Leah Banks & her incredibly supportive family gave their time to organise the event at The Mercure Abbotts Well, Chester.
Such a fabulous evening, guests including the trustees of 4Louis, Cllr Graham Newton, Mayor of Winsford and his Mayoress, daughter Laura. 4Louis is one of the charities he chose to support for his year in office. The wonderful trustees of 4Louis welcomed so many generous sponsors and guests.
