I’m proud to say I’ve won Bronze in the Athletics category at this year‘s World Sports Photography Awards. In addition to this, my image, named ‘Tunnel Vision’ and featuring Jamaican hurdler , was awarded a Special Merit in the Independent Photographers category. Thank you to all those involved for the recognition, and to for the gig!

2020 was the year the world was introduced to COVID-19, bringing with it a dark cloud of uncertainty that, for me, continued to loom overhead as we moved into 2021. I had to adapt; no longer could I rely on the routine schedule of a football fixture calendar...clubs were declining applications left, right and centre...I needed to diversify. The more I spoke to people, the more I began to appreciate what other opportunities were out there, and it was one of these conversations that lead me into another genre of photography that I've really grown to enjoy: property....

The last decade has seen Manchester City dominate English football's top flight, but in the last couple of years, Liverpool have done all they can to turn the blue moon red. Thanks to some uncharacteristic slip-ups from the defending champions, we now have a title race that looked out of the question just a few weeks ago. Relegation worries along with managerial changes and new arrivals on the pitch have given us photographers plenty to capture, and reminded us why this really is the greatest league in the world...
