I pride myself on my informal, documentary style of photography and my ability to make my clients feel relaxed and at ease in front of the camera. The majority of work is within the wedding industry and have shot weddings all across the UK and Europe from a remote Loch in the Northern Highlands of Scotland; to city center Leeds; London; the rural Cheshire plains; the majestic South Wales Valleys a

nd the beaches of Cyprus. Previously juggling my business with full-time teaching proved difficult and I have now decided to take my photography to the next level and leave teaching behind me. I am so pleased to be sharing 20 images from .lumley & ’s stunning wedding at the family home in Dorset. Each and every wedding is such a privilege to shoot and it was amazing to receive such a warm welcome and also catch up with some of my previous couples and their wonderful families.

Dorset really is beautiful and holds a special place in my heart! Thank you so much for asking myself and my amazing partner in crime to capture your big day - we really did have the best time - even if it rained for most of the day and the band ate our meal! Hahaha! Only other wedding photographers will understand that pain!

THIS is the reason I use flash to light wedding ceremonies.

Each and every image shows the difference between natural light and flash. Every “with flash” shot (apart from one workshop setup that was too good to not share) was shot on a real wedding day. The vast majority without an assistant to help.

It can be done!

As usual, i’ve not planned any kind of end of ear post/blog/reel. It’s been an absolutely chaotic year! Soooo much going on that I would have to write an essay to cover the highlights so not going to bother. 2025 - you’ve been pretty darn ace!. Thought i’d share a few pics from the year that i’m pretty proud of. Roll on 2026! Have to say a huge thanks to my partner in crime for everything - he’s my biggest supporter and makes every day fun! From the moment I walked into@bridal prep through to the amazing dancefloor where everyone lost their minds (in the best way) 🕺 💃 🪩 this wedding was just joy start to finish. The kind of day that reminds me exactly why I love doing this job.

Yesterday had to be one of the wettest and wildest weddings I have ever had the pleasure of shooting and I LOVED every second of it! My absolute favourite part of a wedding day has to be the dance party! 💃 🕺 🪩 and and their guests had the most incredible time with all of their amazing guests. To think that if I left after first dance, like a lot of photographers, most of these images and memories just wouldn’t exist!
