We had a wee photography challenge to go to North Berwick and take shots at the fixed Focal length of 50mm which means what the camera sees nis just what your eye sees. We invited Haddington and Penicuik Camera clubs to join in the fun……… well fun for us photographers.

The results of the photographers can now be seen hanging ain an exhibition round the walls of the Fisherrow Centre in Musselburgh.

Some images are on display boards so be moved around the centre but worth having a look if you like photography.

Hi

The Club starts back earlier this year on thursday the 13th of August 2026. On the night we will meet up have a blether and explain what we will be doing over the coming season. we will also be on hand if you have any questions about your camera gear of photography.

The second night Thursday the 20th will be a little different. We will be having mini exhibition and celebration of photography. So if you would like to be involved please let us know. We will have teas, coffee and perhaps cake!!!!!.

We invite you to submit an image that fits the following parameter. 1) Be of North Berwick 2) Be taken with a focal length of around 50mm or as close to it as you have. and 3) Thats it, there is no other parameters that you need to meet.

We will have images on display and attendees can vote on the photo they like the best. We will have a spot the seagull fun competition. The images will then go on to be shown for a few weeks as a photography exhibition.
