What a brilliant wedding at Kings Weston House.

A day full of laughter, confetti, family, friends and plenty of those little moments that make a wedding feel completely personal.

We kept the photos relaxed, made the most of the incredible grounds around Kings Weston House and gave Roger & Tam plenty of time to actually enjoy their wedding rather than spending hours posing for photographs.

Anita & Josh at Sugar Loaf Barn 🤍

What a celebration this was.

The whole day was full of laughter, happy tears and people who were completely ready to celebrate with them.

Anita also had the most amazing bridal team around her. They brought the energy from the morning preparations and carried it straight through to the dance floor.

Sugar Loaf Barn was the perfect setting, with its relaxed atmosphere, rustic barn and incredible Welsh mountain views. We only needed a few minutes away from the party for their couple photographs before getting them straight back to their guests.

A brilliant couple, a brilliant group of people and the most perfect celebration from beginning to end.

“What time will you arrive on the morning of our wedding?” 📸

This is something I get asked all the time.

If you’re getting ready at your wedding venue, I’ll normally arrive around 2 hours before your ceremony.

If you’re getting ready somewhere else and we need to travel to the venue, I’ll usually arrive around 3 hours before.

But what am I actually photographing that early?

I’m not turning up and immediately asking everyone to pose. 😂

I’ll spend the morning quietly capturing everything as it happens…

✨ The finishing touches of hair & makeup
🥂 You having a laugh (and maybe a glass of fizz) with your bridesmaids
👗 The dress, shoes, flowers and all those little details you’ve spent months choosing
❤️ Mum and Dad seeing you ready
🥹 That first look with Dad
😂 The nerves, excitement and chaos that naturally comes with a wedding morning

Some of my favourite photographs from a wedding day happen during these couple of hours because nothing needs to be forced or staged.

You just enjoy getting ready with your favourite people, and I’ll capture the story as it unfolds.

Because your wedding story doesn’t start when you walk down the aisle.

It starts long before that. ❤️

Apparently being the bride and groom wasn’t enough… they wanted to photograph the wedding as well 😂📸

I handed my spare camera to the bridesmaid for a few photos and before I knew it, the groom had taken over too!

To be fair, after revealing those Welsh budgie smugglers, I think he was feeling pretty confident in front of and behind the camera.

I might have photographed this wedding, but Sophie, Cellan and the bridesmaid definitely earned their second-shooter badges!

This is actually one of my favourite parts of photographing weddings. Getting to know everyone, having a laugh and feeling like part of the day rather than just being the bloke with the camera.

I keep things simple — a little walk, a bit of a laugh, 10–15 minutes for some lovely photos and then straight back to enjoying your wedding with your family and friends.

Your wedding day deserves more than a folder on a computer.

One of my favourite parts of the job is preparing these beautiful handcrafted albums ready to be delivered. Every detail is carefully considered, from the presentation to the protective wrapping, so opening your album feels just as special as the memories inside.

This one is heading to Ellie & Hugh after their incredible wedding at St Pierre. I can’t wait for them to relive their day all over again. 🤍
