Standing guard at the magnificent Mausoleum of Mohammed V in Rabat—a place where Moroccan history, tradition and extraordinary craftsmanship come together.

From the richly decorated bronze doors to the intricate geometric stonework, every detail makes this remarkable landmark unforgettable. 🇲🇦📸

A shot from my recent visit to The Church of Saints Constantine and Helena on Macedonia Street in central Skopje, North Macedonia.

The distinctive frescoes, marble floor and elaborate chandelier are part of the newly completed interior.

From the sweeping marble patterns beneath my feet to the extraordinary detail rising overhead, every line draws the eye towards the heart of this breathtaking space.

A reminder that architecture can be more than something we see—it can be something we feel.

Every city has its quiet stories. Amid the traffic, weathered walls and bustle of daily life, one man pauses to take to his paper—a simple, unguarded moment captured on the street. 📷

Where symmetry meets serenity. 💙

I was drawn to the intricate blue detailing, sculpted arch and solitary ornamental lamp in a mihrab in the Mustafa Pasha Mosque in Skopje, North Macedonia —a quiet corner filled with extraordinary character.

Sometimes simplicity makes the strongest photograph.

Red light, city life. 🚦

Four strangers, one crossing, and a fleeting moment when colour, character and everyday chaos fell perfectly into place.

Skopje after dark. 🇲🇰✨

The magnificent Warrior on a Horse monument towering above Macedonia Square — even more dramatic when illuminated against the night sky.

I loved the contrast here between the monumental architecture, the warm golden tones of the statue and the cool blue light below. Keeping the people in the frame gives a real sense of just how enormous this landmark is.

One of those city scenes that really comes alive after sunset. 📸

It was a truly wonderful day documenting Courtney and John's wedding at the Busby Hotel in Glasgow.

It was a genuine pleasure to witness their love and to experience the warm welcome extended by everyone present.

On a rain-soaked afternoon in Pristina, the National Library of Kosovo reveals a completely different character. Its bold geometric lattice, weathered metal, and imposing concrete forms make it one of Europe's most distinctive—and divisive—buildings.

Love it or hate it, it's impossible to ignore.

Sometimes the most memorable architecture isn't the prettiest—it's the architecture that makes you stop, look, and think.
