Avon Valley Vintage Power Tractor Run 2026

Got out of the house yesterday and went to watch a Tractor Run in aid of the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and Motor Neuron Disease (MND).

Some really cool looking Tractors and Trucks.

I know this isn't what I usually post on the channel but I enjoyed my wee day out :)

Flying Around Hartwood

Once intended to help shape the future of the Catholic Church in Scotland, St Peter’s Seminary near Cardross became one of Britain’s most remarkable examples of Brutalist architecture.

Opened in 1966 and designed by Gillespie, Kidd & Coia, the seminary closed just 14 years later. Today, its raw concrete corridors, ruined chapels and overgrown spaces tell a very different story.

A place built for the future… slowly disappearing into the landscape.

A wide-angle Helix flight over the remains of Woodmuir Colliery, taking in the old pit ruins and the surrounding West Lothian landscape. Once a working coal mine, now a quiet reminder of the area’s industrial past. 🚁🏭🌿

A Rocket shot rising above the remains of Craigend Brickworks, climbing as high as the drone will allow. From the ground, the scale of the old brickworks is easy to miss — but from above, the abandoned site and surrounding landscape really come into view. 🚁🏚️🌿

A wide-radius flight around the haunting remains of St Peter’s Seminary near Cardross, Scotland. Once a pioneering place of worship, it now stands quietly reclaimed by the landscape — weathered, isolated, and atmospheric. 🏚️🌿🏴

The Pineapple - Quick Facts

After remaining in the Dunmore family for centuries, The Pineapple was bought in 1970 and then donated by The Countess of Perth to the National Trust for Scotland in 1974.

Thanks to her generosity, this remarkable landmark can be enjoyed by all!
