Meeting dogs from all walks of life is one of my favourite parts about photographing them. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Mila and her rescue brother Freddie last week. Mila and her mum welcomed Freddie in from a Spanish lab where he'd sadly spent 8 years of his life cruelty being tested on.

They were bought a gift voucher for a photoshoot with me and chose to go to the pony sanctuary fields off Raby Park Road (which in itself is a great cause)

They chose this field because that's where Freddie first saw grass, first wandered freely outdoors and first felt safe. What an absolute privilege to photograph this gorgeous boy and his loving sister in such a stunning place 🥰 using a private field for a photoshoot is a great idea for more than one reason, showcasing where your dog feels safe gets the best side of them ❤️🐾

Wanted to get some nice portraits of Ziggy in his new collar, but instead he chose to be a chaos puppy in the water 😂🥰

Good job these collars are water and mud proof because they have been extremely well tested by Zig!

Spring is my favourite season to photograph dogs: longer days, brighter light, wildflowers blooming and dare I say it... less mud! I don't even mind a little april shower every now and then

It was such a privilege to photograph beautiful Meg for her 16th birthday 🤍

Her lovely mum told me that Meg still adores playing in the mud (a girl after my own heart!), but as she’s gotten older she can feel a little nervous around other dogs. So we booked a private field at Cei Meadows Dog Park giving her all the space and calm she needed to just be herself.

Photographing senior dogs (especially collies) will always hold a very special place in my heart. There's something so magical about that sugar-dusted face, the sparkle in their eyes, and that unmistakable sass that never fades✨

I’m so grateful Meg's mum trusted me with these memories. Sixteen years of love, loyalty, and personality 🤍

This year myself, and have combined our skills to put together in person photography workshops, starting with everyone's favourite... Dogs 🐶

Our very first workshop as will be on the 24th April in the gorgeous Ecclesall Wood in Sheffield for just £199 🥰

During the day you can learn from three professionals with completely different experiences and expertise giving you a wealth of knowledge in photography and photo editing. The workshop will be hands on with real life scenarios, dogs and mud 🐾

We're already half sold out which is absolutely incredible so places are going quickly! If you're a photographer who wants to specialize in dogs, a dog walker looking to step up your photo game or simply want to create life long memories with your best friend, you are guaranteed to come away from this workshop a better photographer 🥰

As much as I’m a total dog person… I'm really just an animal person 🥰 And yes, that absolutely includes cats!

Puppy's first snow day ❄️

My favourite ever photo of Maizie was in the snow and I'm so glad Ziggy got to experience it with his friends, what a start to 2026 ❤️ safe to say he's been sulking as soon as it's too dark to play outside

Losing a dog is never easy, especially such an icon like Ralph who has been with me from the very beginning of both my home boarding and Dog Photography journey! He truly made everyone smile with his gorgeous goofy nature and will be incredibly missed

Say hello to Maizie for me big lad, she'll be made up to have her best friend back ❤️
