Today I visited the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow. The home of a Morris as a boy. At age 50 he began his path to Socialism founding the Hammersmith Socialist League. He spoke about the subject at many demos and events. The rights of workers and their working conditions conflicted with his goods and products that were to costly for the common working man.

This Victorian house which is now used as Grove Road School is, these days, rather an odd one out in Sutton. The town centre is a growing mass of tower blocks. Most built without any infrastructure for health services, etc. Thoughts?
