My friend used to be totally obsessed with baby feet.

If there was a baby in the viscinity she's be straight over to it and the socks would be off so she could play with their tiny toes.

It makes me think of her every time I photograph teeny toes.

My favourite thing about a newborn baby is the bum scrunch they do when you pop them on your shoulder.

I just love how they mold themselves into the comfy spot on your shoulder. 🤍🤍

Whilst half of Scotland were en route to the USA for the World Cup, this lovely bunch came all the way from the USA to visit the castle their Dad once lived in.

Seems only right to document a trip like that! 🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I'm embarrassed to say that I never even knew this one existed despite driving past the walls of it since I was little. Wonder how many of you know this one??! Proper hidden treasure!

There is so much that goes into choosing the 'PERFECT' spot!

Yes, you can just pick up a camera and find good spots anywhere.

But the PERFECT spot?!

That's a different story.

And it needs to be right for all kinds of weather.

Where will the sun fall if it's fully out? What if it's dull and there's no sun? Is there still something decent to use as a backdrop?

Is there interest? Paths? Grass or buildings/trees that can add interest and draw the eye into the subject.

Where will the sun set or rise on the spot?

Will there be shelter if it's windy?

You spend an age making sure you get the right clothes for a session.

Let me find and suggest the absolute best spots to use to make it magic!

There's sod all I can do about the weather though. If anyone can figure out a way to rig that I'd be super grateful! Lol!

My boys have slipped again this year. My other half is on the same spot as his dad! And I'm non existent...unfashionable as ever eh!

Needing to find the perfect baby name...then have a nose!

This year's list was released this morning! I wonder if I was the only geek in Scotland who not only knew it was being published today but who was sitting refreshing the page! Lol!

Special thanks to my other half who sat and mispronounced a good 50% of these names while I typed them in. Any errors are categorically his fault! 😂😂

Help...So...when anyone books in for a Newborn or Family session I send out a Welcome Pack.

I put a little Green & Blacks chocolate in with it.

My question is this...

If you were getting a Welcome Pack which chocolate/sweet treat would you be more excited to see?

1. Green & Blacks - posh little individual miniature
2. Freddo - the staple of every childhood
3. A wee packet of Haribo
4. Something else - open to suggestions but it needs to be posted so must be pretty flat and be individually wrapped.

Feel free to add your thoughts below.

Husband is all for a Freddo. I don't think that feels posh enough but I'd happily eat a Freddo before a Green & Blacks so 🙈🤷‍♀️
