Some babies are pretty alert through their session, even at just a week old, which is completely fine. I definitely want baby to be content and comfortable awake or asleep. I love the expressions they have, I wonder how similar they will look a year, 5 years, or 15 years from their newborn stage.

Newborn is such a short window period, wouldn't want to miss it! too cute!

This gorgeous 6 days old cutie is so tired she can sleep upright, or pretty much in any position.

My own babies are much too grown up for newborn photos, if only I knew about newborn shoots when my girls were newborns!

I'm blessed to be able to do other people's babies instead. Lucky me!

I love opportunities to make things fly around: hair, dresses, veils...husbands.. ok maybe can't easily lift the husbands. That will really make for some cool photos though! We will have to settle for the veils instead in this case!

Highlights from the Milton Keynes Light Festival. From the colorful Chinese fusion dancers to the Stencil Pencils, who dazzled everyone with their stage presence. What a cute mix for the evening!
Had a lot of fun watching this as we celebrated that MK is now a city.
