NFL London Games
Once we'd listened to the drivel from the two guys slinging questionable quality goods outside the station, we thought it would be wise to refresh ourselves with a drink. I was quickly reminded that I was in London after looking at the cost of three pints, even in a Wetherspoons
The stadium suddenly appears between the newly built tower blocks as you approach from Wembley Central station and a throng of people give you an idea of the scale of this type of event

NFL London Games
First time seeing my own team in the flesh. Yes, it wasn't at Foxborough, but an amazing setting nonetheless and a fantastic day spent with my Dad and Brother
Travel was just as expected - delayed right from the off. But once I'd left, it was smooth sailing all the way to Wembley Stadium
Took my trusty R6 and the 50mm lens to travel lightweight

USA 2022 #1
Long day travelling between Hetahrow and Savannah. Particularly the flight between Heathrow and JFK. I guess that's our fault for having two children under the age of 2?!
We were blessed with an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline out the window of the flight with Delta

Happy Holidays
Travel day over to America to spend the Christmas with family. To say it was a long day would be an understatement.
It took us longer to deal with TSA in New York than it did to fly from Heathrow to JFK. Not the warmest of welcomes to the self professed greatest nation on earth, but we landed safely and have arrived at our lovely, festively decorated accommodation

Obligatory winter vibe snowy shots. Captured whilst I was out driving at work today. Couldn't help but take a few snaps. Weather like this doesn't appear too often in the UK!
Stay safe out there on them roads. The ice seems to be lingering. Not difficult when it's -5 degrees

National Botanic Garden of Wales, Carmarthenshire
More shots from the Botanic Garden of Wales
Not only were the collection of plants and trees stunning, the views from the site is incredible
You can probably spot a small tower at the top of the hill way up there! This is Paxton's Tower, a Grade II* listed building under the care of National Trust which was erected around 1805 by Sir William Paxton to honour Lord Nelson; the former living, at the time, in what is now the Botanic Gardens of Wales

National Botanic Garden of Wales, Carmarthenshire
So, even though this does not look like an appropriate place to take our dog, they have 'doggy days' which is perfect to take your four legged friend for a long walk around the enormous site
You could spend literally all day there. Plenty to see, fantastic walks, though Alfie was not allowed inside the glasshouse
This glasshouse was designed by Norman Foster, known for his work at an extensive number of sites around the world such as Apple Park, Cupertino; Camp Nou, Barcelona; restoration of Reichstag, Berlin; Wembley Stadium, London

Rhossili Bay Beach, Gower
Another beach, but this time at the end of the Gower Peninsula - Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), having been granted the protected status in 1956
We didn't time it right in order to cross over to Worm's Head, but we were presented with stunning views. I even managed to shoot, a nice shot of an abandoned boathouse
This area is know as Kitchen Corner and the boathouse was constructed some time in the 1920s to store boats and fishing equipment. As expected, it has no mains water, electricity or gas. The placement of the boathouse was purposeful in order for the landscape to be used as a shield from the Atlantic Oceans weather.

This time, I tried to get down to the water. Yes, it may have been a sketchy stumble down the rocks with a camera in hand, but I made it without incident. Though the lens hood may have a couple of scratches on it. That's what they're for....right!....right?!
The person in the kayak looked like they were having a lush paddle. Even timed it well so they were in the right place for me, I'm sure. What a guy.

Whitesands Bay, Pembrokeshire
Some lush beach vibes during the next few posts. Sorry for the lack of diversity in advance!
Absolutely blessed with the weather throughout the week in South Wales. It definitely helps with the colours during the editing process....
My daughter seems to love the beach, throwing herself in the water (some may say she fell over....nonsense), throwing sand everywhere and also rolling around in it to make sure we find it in the pram and car for the following 7 days

Pembrey Circuit, Carmarthenshire
First full day in South Wales and there just so happened to be a race event at the local track. I have never watched a rallycross event in person, so thought it was worthwhile checking out
Had a great day out with my daughter, nephew, brother and Dad as the ladies had a chill day at the house
Met a really nice family who were competing in the junior class and even asked my nephew to sit in the car for a picture. I'm sure it won't be long until he gets in front of another steering wheel. Thank you and family
