My heart can’t cope with how excited he was to get his ring too. To finally be married.

The happiest couple to finally be married with the groom looking at his ring with shock and excitement. The best groom reaction to his bride, hands down.

Abbie & Artur did something pretty incredible yesterday ❤️

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding ever since I documented their proposal. These two are just joy personified and light up every room they walk into.

And can we all just take a moment for Abbie’s dress!? It was once her mother’s and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever it. Abbie did such an amazing job make it her own and I will never get over the gorgeous butterflies she made for it.

There are only a handful of venues in Sussex with a church right next door, and Findon Place is at the top of the list.

I remember chatting with Caroline, who owns this little slice of heaven, about how I can photograph from any angle and everything looks perfect. Even down to the little details of silver fire extinguishers over blaring, bright red. Something magical happens when I can focus on the beauty and the moments rather than getting clever with my angles or photographing up close to hide distractions.

To say I love this place and the people who have made it what it is today doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of things. So I’ll just share one of the countless stunning weddings I’ve photographed here to a tribute song 🙌

These two were so excited for their first dance and song choice they even had a sweepstakes for guests!! And now I am convinced this level of excitement guarantees some of the sweetest first dance pictures. My heart can’t cope with how happy they are!

This is my love letter to . Because it’s one of those rare places that ticks all the boxes.

With a church on the grounds, several indoor and outdoor ceremony and wedding breakfast locations, it offers a level of flexibility that is hard to find. I have had couples dance the night away in the orangery or the ballroom, then step outside to kiss beneath fireworks or be surrounded by their friends holding sparklers.

It is also one of the very few places where I never worry. And that includes the weather - a rare feeling for a photographer working in the UK. There are so many back up options, not just for how the day flows but for photographs too. I’ve had gale-force winds and been able to reassure a worried MOB that we would still get gorgeous outdoor images thanks to the many sheltered areas a large venue like this provides. On rainy days, covered terraces and walkways make it easy for couples who are hesitant to go outside, with no muddy shoes or grass stains to worry about.

I also know that the day will run smoothly. I have never experienced catering running over by hours (even when speeches get a little enthusiastic) or any other major hiccups. The team at Buxted Park are always calm, collaborative, and genuinely invested in making sure my couples have the best possible day.

That is why you will find me at Buxted Park this Sunday the 11th from 12 to 4 pm for their wedding showcase. I will be there sharing some of the many beautiful weddings I have had the honour to document at this special venue.

I’m not sure on which trip up and down Lewes Castle’s stairs I died and went to heaven. But running down from the ceremony location and up a spiral staircase of the tower with all my camera gear was probably a close call.

Ness and Kieran I honestly can’t thank you enough for entrusting me with your memories.

Lewes Castle has always been a special place to me and to spend all day here under the sun was a dream come true.
