2024 is coming to a close but NOT before Kathy & Elliot's winter wedding.

This is me.

For those of you who don't know me I'm Phil. I'm the one who makes the coffee and gets to play with fancy cameras.
Obviously this isn't all I do, I wear about 99 hats and this is only 2. I'm also a poet, I just didn't know it.

In all seriousness, I'm crap at the whole social media thing so I go days and sometimes weeks without posting content. The algorithms hate me for this, and in this day and age if you're not posting daily, people think you've died and gone to heaven.
This simply isn't true. I'm alive, more alive for not being on social media than being on it.
I'm 52 spins around the planet now, fit and healthy and running every week. Not from the police or anything like that, I mean actual running where you wear silly shorts and breathe out of your bottom for 45 minutes at a time. It doesn't get easier, I just get faster. So my wife keeps telling me.

DON'T CALL ME if you want smoke grenades, hung from a tree by your veil, behind the scenes video clips within 24 hrs of you taking a poo or eating a bag of crisps before the ceremony or anything more than 20 minutes of couple portraits.

DO CALL ME if you want honest, natural and timeless storytelling from start to finish. Do call me if you want images oozing with all of your favourite family and friend personalities being real, raw and beautifully them.

So, this is me. I tell really bad dad jokes as well. I once came across a book named "How to solve 50% of your problems." so I bought 2 copies.

A lovely surprise.

About 3 weeks ago I dusted off my film camera once again to find a half shot roll of Kodak TriX400 left inside.

I had no idea what was on it, and how long ago I'd taken them. All I knew was that the film had expired in 2014. After a quick refresh on YouTube of how to use my light meter I finished off the roll with a few portraits of Heidi and sent them off to

Here's a few from the scans I received. We think the first one was almost 10 years ago, and the last 2 if Heidi right now, at 15 yrs old.

My love of film, with all it's quirks and surprises has been reignited.
