I love that golden hour light but also love black and white. Do you have a preference? Maybe you like both? I certainly do. & love to mix up the dreamy with the dramatic if it's available on the day then I'd always try to get both.

A fun and rather windy Whitby wedding for Ashleigh & Rob on 28th March. Thanks for having me as your photographer and for embracing & braving the blustery day. It was lovely to meet your family & I felt very fortunate that they all laughed when my van handbrake failed at Egton Bridge and the van rolled itself across the road and into a wall! Luckily none of the locals including the pheasants, were hurt! :-) Real life, real weddings :-)

First wedding of the year this Saturday and just received my new USBs and been out buying flash batteries & starting to charge everything up.... looking forward to the day in whitby with Ashley & Rob.

I usually get light coloured wood but decided to go with these this time. Think I quite like them too.

First wedding of the year last week at the beautiful Hackness Grange in Scarborough. Congratulations to the newly weds Mr & Mrs Twizell, we had all the weathers in one day. & you were both amazing. Congratulations to Michelle & Jonny on their wedding on Saturday. They had such amazing weather it certainly made up for the sunshine they would have had if their original plan to get married in Cyprus had gone ahead. So, it all worked out perfectly in the end, well apart from the little bit where the Groom forgot the rings :-) Oops! But the best man saved the day with that one.
