One of the hundreds of Food Carts in NYC this one was on the side of Bryant Park.

On our trip we did buy food from one near the 9/11 Memorial in the Financial District of the City, figured this would be safe as the office workers were using the carts in this location.

Chicken over Rice with some of the best Chilli Sauce I've had for a long while .. 🌶️

For our last night in New York we visited " Rudys Bar & Grill " in the Hells Kitchen area of the city.

A traditional Dive Bar dating back to 1933 it has a massive selection of Ales & Spirits and you are offered a free hot dog with every drink you purchase.

Beer and Hot Dogs were spot on .... 👍

Went hard core this morning, no breakfast or coffee.

Up and packed then the last 6.5 mile walk around the city to catch a couple of the sights we'd missed.

Grabbed a wrap & a can of pop from a Deli and now on the way to JFK for the flight home.

A bit behind on today's Breakfast food post .... 😀

We didn't do Breakfast today though as we had a 2 mile walk to Pier 34 to catch a ferry to Dumbo ... Now we could have caught the subway but where's the fun in that ... ☺️

We had brunch in Brooklyn Bridge Park after grabbing a Chicken Strips Bun with the Works from a Deli in Dumbo.

Hell of a view 😀

Another Touristy photo - Nik posing on the USS Growler.

A cold war Guided Nuclear Cruise Missile Submarine - decommissioned in 1964.

Interesting to see inside and speak to a couple of sailors that served on it.

The admission to the USS Growler is included in the ticket price for the USS Intrepid located at pier 86.

Before catching the Subway back to our hotel we had our evening meal in China Town.

Another YouTube recommendation " Tasty Hand Pulled - Noodles " in Doyers Street.

A 200 feet pedestrian only street that has a sharp right angled curve at its mid-point.

Because of its sharp, blind curve, this narrow street served as the perfect ambush spot for early 20th-century Chinese gang wars (Tong wars).

The intense violence and high number of hatchet attacks and shootings gave the street its famous, chilling nickname: "The Bloody Angle".

We certainly murdered our Noodle dishes, with a side order of dumplings washed down with cold Chinese beer.

Definitely no frills dining. Sat in the middle of the street on plastic stools & at picnic tables with the world walking past.

Oh and Bob - yesterday's walking tally was 11 miles so calories were definitely burnt ... 😀
