Lisa + Jamie // Part 1

Hold your horses! Let’s rewind from this first image when Lisa was about to leave for the ceremony.

I’m going to dedicate 20 slides to Jamie + Lisa’s morning preparations as I thought the morning of their wedding was pretty special. They did everything with the help of their friends putting up hand made decorations and signs, a sister was their florist, a friend doing hair, a friend preparing food and conducting the ceremony. The only suppliers was their photographer and makeup artist which are arguably the most important wedding suppliers 😜

It was fun sprinkled with a little stress but the vibe was amazing and seeing friends and family come together to help a couple put on a great day for everyone… *chefs kiss*

On a windy summers day Helly and JJ got married in the most beautiful disused church on top of a very steep hill next to their family farm where they held their reception. It’s pretty much a guarantee if you have your party in a marquee the dance floor is going to be awesome!

I do love a thank you card! What an unforgettable 2 day adventure these two allowed me to capture for them last year ❤️

Dear Chris,

We wanted to write to you to fully express how grateful we are for all our fantastic photos! You were such an integral part of both our days + really put us at ease. You can see in the photos how relaxed we were and that is in no small part down to you.

So many of our guests commented on how brilliant you were, how you appeared to be in multiple places at once but never in anyone’s face + that is such a fantastic skill, we really had to pass it on!

Thank you again for capturing so many special moments, allowing us to relive the best day(s) of our life!

In March, I traveled to Gretna Green for the super secret elopement of Katherine, Josh, and their faithful companion, Moss. And now they’ve told their nearest and dearest I can share a few photos!

Having previously photographed Katherine as a bridesmaid, it was an honor to be invited back to capture her own wedding. This ceremony was particularly meaningful not only did I get to document some really tender, honest moments, I also had the rare privilege of acting as a witness to their vows!

After the ceremony we had a look around the Gretna Green Museum, went for a pint and had some fun taking a few portraits!

Proof of life! I honestly don’t know how people post every day being a “content creator” feels like a career path I definitely didn’t sign up for. I’m much happier behind the lens than I am trying to “curate” a feed.

The best part of this job just the photography it’s that it takes me out of my bubble here in the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside. I get to meet people I wouldn’t have normally met, I crash their best day ever, and leave them with proof that it all really happened, while I leave with my own awesome memories.

I cannot wait for the 2026 season to kick off because I miss that!
