I know some people might think, what the heck is Mandy doing with all these silly quotes? Well I have to say that I've only been doing them for just over a week, but it does change your mindset. Instead of thinking, oh crap another day at work, or, oh god what a s**t, boring day sat at home doing nothing! And getting inside your own head in a huge negative way. Well it's making me realise all the good things in life, helping me feel positive about things. Helping me feel good again. Starting my day in a positive way and thinking about what my goals are and how I want to spend each day. It does work. And on a plus I'm more focused, being a bit more active, normally I struggle to even reach 5000 steps in a day, sitting at a desk all day but the past 2 days I've smashed it and got to over 7000, which helps, I'm more tired at the end of the day so instead of falling asleep around 2.30am, it's reduced down to just gone 11pm last night, Which hasn't happened in months, almost a year!!! So you might think silly quotes, BUT I see a better, more balanced life. ❤️ Don't knock it until you try it❤️

This man stands by my side through thick and thin, I'm so proud to call him my husband! We are opposites, I'm someone that's wanting to do things quick, he's someone that see's the bigger picture and if it takes time he's ok with that. And fair play to him cause it might take him a bit longer but he gets to enjoy the ride. My type well we end up screaming on the roller coaster ride, gripping in for dear life lol while he's chilling and enjoying the views lol. I will say over the years we have been together I have adapted more of his methods and realised taking time is ok. Here's to more of those methods being implemented.

Well it was a rocky start to the day with car issues, but we got to work on time, work went ok to be fair, got treated to a hot chocolate with cream, marshmallows and crumbled chocolate flake on top so that was nice, then after dreading it all day as we had agreed to meet my daughter to take our beautiful dog Rizzo for a walk in the dark around the woods, so with a head torch on to show us the way, all of us wrapped up super well we braved the darkness and off we went, had a good half an hour walk with Rosey cheeks and chilled noises we are all back home and feeling toasty in the warm. Dinners in the oven cooking and boy are we ready for our din dins! I must say I'm still working on my positive thinking and doing my affirmations is helping. Here's to, another if not better day tomorrow.

Well after a week off work, it's time to go back, wish me luck cause I'm sure it will be a day! I'm feeling somewhat positive, but wondering what's going to burst my bubble first. Being real and trying super hard to stay positive that it's going to be a good day and focusing on meeting my daughter after work to take our dog for a walk in the dark with a head torch and Phil as our security, which we definitely don't need but want him with us as our dog is by far protective of us lol if you know her...then you know lol. I suppose I best get going then!!!

Happy Birthday mum 🥳 it's far too scary to think what my life would of turned out to be without you in it! Thankyou for all that you have done to support me and that you still do! 💝 You are someone that we love so deeply, and I just hope you have a wonderful birthday, topped off with Scott and Lily coming home this weekend! ❤️Love you loads. ❤️
