There’s something pretty special about seeing a badge you designed go from an idea on a screen to being proudly worn on a football shirt. ⚽️👏🏼

I designed the Moreton Football Club badge, and this one means a little more than most.

There are some very special touches within the design, each with a deeper meaning and story behind them. It wasn’t simply about creating something that looked good. It was about creating a badge that represented the club, its identity and something that people could feel proud to wear.

Seeing it now embroidered onto their new Macron training kit is a proper proud designer moment.

And I have to say, the new kit is looking seriously smart! 🔥

A little behind the scenes from one of my lovely clients, The Fox & Hounds in Uffington 🍻📸

After a recent stay, I couldn’t resist putting together this little reel to show off their B&B rooms and give people a proper feel for what it’s like to stay there.

One of the things I love about managing social media for businesses is being able to actually experience what they offer. It makes creating genuine content so much easier, and hopefully helps potential customers picture themselves there too.

If you’re ever around Uffington or exploring the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, definitely give them a visit. Great pub, lovely rooms and even better people 👏🏼

Yesterday I had the pleasure of hosting another session inside the Womeniverse™, this time helping members build confidence with video editing using nothing more than their phone.

It’s easy to think you need expensive equipment or years of experience to create great content, but that’s simply not true. We covered the basics of editing in Instagram Edits and Canva, looking at simple techniques that anyone can use to create cleaner, more engaging videos.

One of my favourite parts is seeing that moment when people realise, “Actually… I can do this.”

A huge thank you to everyone who joined, asked questions and got involved. I hope you’re already putting those tips into practice.

It’s been brilliant working with the Women of Our Time team to deliver these practical sessions and help members feel more confident creating content for themselves, their businesses and their communities.

The Open has now come to an end at Royal Birkdale, and it’s brought back some brilliant memories of working at the championship when it was held at Royal Liverpool.

I was out on the course as a photographer for Merseyside Police, capturing the atmosphere, the crowds and the huge amount of work happening behind the scenes to keep an event of that scale safe and running smoothly.

Most people see the golf, the big names and the iconic moments, but there is an entire team working quietly in the background to make it all happen.

Being able to photograph The Open from such a unique perspective was a real privilege and definitely one of those jobs I’ll always remember.

It’s been brilliant to see the championship back in the North West again and to watch Royal Birkdale take centre stage.

Yesterday’s challenge was photographing an awards ceremony at Aintree Racecourse during a heatwave.

No air con. A packed room. And a photographer carrying camera gear around for hours.

Safe to say it was warm. Very warm. 😂

The event itself had its moments, but I think everyone in the room was united by one thing… trying not to melt.

That said, days like this always remind me why I enjoy what I do. Every week is completely different. One day I’m photographing a wedding, the next I’m at a corporate event, then I’m travelling somewhere new with a camera in hand.

Not every job is glamorous. Sometimes it’s standing in a room that feels like a greenhouse while trying to keep your camera lens fog-free and your shirt looking respectable.

But I genuinely wouldn’t have it any other way.

Now if anyone needs me, I’ll be standing in front of a fan for the foreseeable future. 🥵📸
