STAK.life CIC has been going for 2 years!
WHO are we?
A Multi-award winning, neuroaffirming and neurodivergent led not for profit community interest company.
Tristan and Emma (husband and wife) - lived and professional experience of Neurodivergence.
Directors - Donna, Eve and Stephen.
Admin, friend and supporter - Sara
WHY did we set up STAK.life?
We set STAK.life up to change and improve outcomes for Neurodivergent people in Thanet in memory of our son Stefan who died in March 2022, after he reported being bullied for being Autistic.
WHEN did we start STAK.life?
14th February 2024 - valentines day ♥️
WHAT do we do?
1.Campaigning for better services and understanding of Neurodivergence.
2. Community Events
3. Parent advice sessions.
4. Parent training and Workshops.
5. Training for professionals and organisations on Autism and ADHD.
6. Creative workshops for CYP.
7. WorkshKent Speak Their Name adults to support identify and improve life outcomes.
7. Kent Speak Their Name Memorial Quilt for those people bereaved by su***de.
8. Networking and Influencing.
WHERE?
Are services are based in Thanet but we deliver training for professionals and organisations across Kent and beyond.
WHAT is next?
8th to 10th May at ARK Cliftonville- Art Exhibition and Sale from 10am till 4pm everyday - Everyone welcome
12th July at The Pavilion in Broadstairs - FREE Music Event with Academy FM and 4 local bands - Everyone welcome
We will also be working with local counsellors and Therapists to provide mental health support for neurodivergent young people in Thanet
