Penwith Photographic Group We are a very friendly and social camera club. Open to anyone with an interest in photography. Come along for a couple of evenings to see what we are all about.

Our aim is to encourage and advance our members photography at all levels, via lectures, demonstrations, competitions, exhibitions, field trips and socialising. We are a very friendly and social camera club, open to anyone with an interest in photography. (field trips) and interaction of club members themselves. We are a democratic club with every member having an equal say in the running of the club. We meet Thursday evenings throughout the year, with the exception of the Christmas period. In the winter months at our clubhouse, Ludgvan Community Centre in Ludgvan near Penzance and during the Summer months on location around West Cornwall, when we hold weekly evening field trips. If you are considering joining a camera club, we would like to meet you. You’ll be able to see some photography, have a chat amongst enthusiasts and even get a free cup of tea and a biscuit.

Congratulations to us...again!!!

PPG were joint BEST DIGITAL PORTFOLIO and were OVERALL WINNERS at the Cornwall Photograph Alliance's Annual Competition for 2026. Robin our vice chairman being presented with the Colab Award for Best Club in Competition, by Lorraine CPA Chairperson.

Congratulations to our Terry Newing who won BEST DIGITAL IMAGE at the Cornwall Photograph Alliance's Annual Competition on Friday Night. Terry won the Geoff Marshall Cup, which has been doing the rounds since 1972.
