🎄 CHRISTMAS MINIS ARE LIVE! 🎄

Right, it's official. Christmas Minis 2026 are now OPEN for booking! 🎅

This year we're keeping things cosy, festive and fun, with THREE completely different Christmas setups included in every session.

🌲 Christmas trees + snow outdoors
🍪 A cosy Christmas kitchen
✨ A lighter, twinkly Christmas set

And yes, all three are included. No choosing, no missing out.

🐾 Dogs are welcome too, because obviously they need to be in the Christmas photos!

Sessions are happening at my home studio in Mansfield over TWO DAYS at the end of October half term, and that's it.
Once those two days are full, Christmas Minis are done for another year.

Sessions are £25 to book, with photographs and Christmas goodies chosen afterwards.

I've opened the bookings to everyone now, so if you've been waiting for the public launch, this is your sign. 👀

A little look at today’s wedding. 🤍

They kept things really simple, with their closest family and friends around them, and it was just lovely.

Nothing over the top. Nothing complicated. Just two people getting married, surrounded by the people who matter most.
And sometimes, those are the best weddings to photograph.

And just like that… August is over. 🥹
What an extremely busy month you’ve been.

You’ve brought us some of the hottest days of the year, some absolutely amazing rain storms and thunder, and somehow a whole load of beautiful weddings in between. 😂

I’ve laughed, run around in the sunshine, got soaked in the rain, improvised when plans went sideways and captured so many moments that I know my couples will treasure for years to come.

And now we’re heading into the berrrrr months. 🍂
Which, for me, means autumn weddings, cosy evenings, Christmas minis, darker nights and that little bit of excitement knowing Christmas isn’t that far away. Although I’m absolutely not ready to admit that yet. 😂

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, I just want to say a massive thank you.
To every couple who chose me to photograph their wedding this year, thank you for choosing me out of all the photographers you could have booked.
I genuinely never take that for granted.
You’re trusting me with some of the biggest, most important moments of your lives, and I’m incredibly grateful that I get to be there for them.

So, thank you for trusting me, for letting me into your days, for putting up with me crawling around on the floor for the perfect shot and for being completely yourselves in front of my cameras.

I’m very, very lucky to do what I do. ❤️

Right then September… let’s see what you’ve got. 📷

**SAVE THIS FOR LATER 📌**

I get asked quite a lot, *“What should we actually have ready for our detail photos?”*

So, here’s a little guided list to give you some ideas. You absolutely don’t need everything, and you won't have everything, just bring along the bits that mean something to you.

💍 All three rings + your ring box
💌 Invitations, envelopes, wax seals or anything printed with your date
📖 Vow books
✨ Jewellery, hair pieces, perfume, watches, cufflinks or anything you’ll be wearing that feels special. New, old or personalised
🎀 Fabric swatches from your dress or ribbons from your flowers
🌸 A few small flowers. You can ask your florist for some loose flower heads that they might not otherwise use
👠 Shoes, especially if they’re fun, colourful or a little bit different
❤️ Anything sentimental or meaningful that you’d like photographed
👗 And of course, your dress, suit and veil

Basically, if it has a story, has sentimental value or you’ve thought, *“Ooh, I’d love a photo of that”*, chuck it in.

**One little tip:** put everything together in a box or in one corner of the room before I arrive.

That way, I can grab it, find somewhere to work my magic and crack on while you’re getting ready. No hunting around for bits while everyone is busy. 😂

Save this one for when you’re getting all those wedding details together. 📌📷

Bank Holiday Monday spent doing what I love, capturing this lovely couple as they made some fabulous memories. ❤️

And what a day it was!

The grandparents were travelling up from London and managed to arrive with just FIVE minutes to spare before the ceremony. 😅

Then, because apparently every wedding needs a little bit of drama, the heavens absolutely opened about 30 minutes before the ceremony. Properly opened.

Thankfully, it cleared up halfway through and gave us some gorgeous blue skies. ☀️

Then came the next little challenge. The gate to the grounds was closed, which meant our original plan for photos afterwards was suddenly off the cards.

Clearly the council didn’t get the wedding memo. 😂

So, we got creative, found some other lovely spots and made it work.
And honestly? I think it all worked out in our favour.

Sometimes the plans you didn’t make end up giving you some of your favourite photos. ❤️📷

Such a lovely couple, and I’m so glad I got to be there to capture their day.

Yesterday, these two finally got to have their day. ❤️
And honestly, what a day.

Even during bridal prep, a little butterfly made an appearance. 🦋

The weather definitely had other plans, so we had to get a little creative. Thankfully, there was a tiny break in the rain, so we managed to sneak outside for a quick walk with the dogs before they headed off. 🐾

For them, bikes were a huge part of their day so this wedding wouldn’t have felt completely without their pride and joy.

And that’s exactly what I love.

Your wedding doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. It’s about making it true to your souls, doing the things that make you happy and filling the day with the people, moments and little details that actually mean something to you.

The rain meant group photos and confetti happened indoors, so we just worked with what we had and made the surroundings work for us. And I think we pulled it off quite nicely. 🤭

Then came the evening…

A hog roast, which I can confirm was delicious.
Glow sticks on the dance floor.
And an ice cream van turning up to surprise everyone. 🍦

Because why not?

Do your day, your way.

Honestly, what’s not to love? ❤️

SAVE THIS FOR YOUR WEDDING CONFETTI! 🌸

One of the questions I get asked is, “How much confetti do we actually need?”

And honestly, I’d rather you had too much than stood there with three tiny handfuls between 100 guests. 😂

This particular bride went with the go big or go home approach.

And she absolutely nailed it.

There was so much confetti at one point that the couple practically disappeared. 😂

I also LOVE biodegradable paper confetti because it’s so light and floats beautifully. It makes for some gorgeous photos as it hangs in the air around you.

A few things to think about:

✨ Supply your own confetti! If you want that big confetti shot, don’t rely on your guests to bring it. Hardly anyone does nowadays. You might get the odd person who has brought some from home, but it’s pretty rare. If you want the confetti, supply the confetti!

✨ You don’t need cones or little bags. A handy little tip is to mix all your confetti together first, then pop it into a nice basket. It’s much easier for guests to grab a handful and it looks lovely too.

✨ Make sure there’s enough for everyone. You want your guests to be able to take a proper handful, not a polite pinch. 😂

✨ Think about the colour. White can look absolutely gorgeous, especially when it catches the light, but I’m loving a good mix of colours at the moment. Or go for one solid colour that works with your wedding.

✨ Biodegradable is always a good shout. Just check what your venue allows before buying.

✨ And if in doubt... buy more. There is no such thing as too much confetti. Well... apparently this couple came pretty close. 😂

I also have some fab confetti suppliers on my Favourite Suppliers page, including discounts from some of them.

Want the details? Just drop me a message, and I’ll send them over. ❤️

A whole year ago we were throwing Callum up in the air 🤭 And what a good sport he was too!

We had such a laugh with these two, so I genuinely can’t believe it’s been a whole year already. Where has that time gone?!

Can we do it all again? 😂

Huge congratulations to you both on your first anniversary. ❤️

Hope you’re celebrating today in style! 🥂📷

If looks could kill... 😂👀

I *think* Dad was on the receiving end of these looks, but honestly, I have absolutely no idea what had been said.

Whatever was going on, it was clearly important enough to deserve a double death stare. 😂

Captured just before the wedding, and exactly the kind of little moment I love catching. 📷❤️
