It’s a question I’m asked a lot, and sometimes the answer is no. But that doesn’t mean I won’t create natural, beautiful photographs of your day.

Great wedding photography isn’t about knowing a venue inside out. It’s about reading the light, working with what’s happening in front of me, and responding to your day as it unfolds.

I don’t often get to photograph the guys getting ready - I’m usually with the bride during morning prep.

But on this occasion, everyone was under one roof: bride, groom, bridesmaids, and groomsmen. It was as chaotic and lively as you’d expect but also brilliant for capturing moments like this.

The guys figuring out how to tie their ties… puzzling over how to fasten the buttonhole… even the bride helping the groom with his shirt!

Back at Seckford Hall this weekend for a super fun wedding! They managed to have an outdoor ceremony which is a beautiful setting round the bandstand. Absolutely lovely people - they all welcomed me in from the get go and we had a good laugh together.

Quite frankly, the photos speak for themselves of how beautiful, fun and wonderful a day it was.

Easiest way to get lasting memories of parts of the day even you didn't witness...

Double up!
Two photographers

While I’m off with you doing your couple portraits, the second photographer can be photographing your guests and getting amazing photos of them talking/ laughing/ playing.

There are going to be parts of the day that you won’t witness, and I can’t be in two places at once either… so to ensure more memories of all your guests, I would really recommend doubling up and choosing a package with two photographers.

"Remember that time when I couldn't get the ring on?" 😂😂

Childhood sweethearts with the sweetest story. Wivenhoe House was the perfect venue for this wedding as both of their parents had previously been married there too!

It was a beautiful day and such a pleasure to spend it with this couple. The colour scheme made the reception room feel light and fresh and all the details were just stunning.
