What. A. Day. Danielle and Martyn tied the knot at the Barn at Morleys Hall, and it was the perfect blend of lovely moments and laid-back party vibes. Afternoon tea, a graze lunch, and later—food trucks serving up pizza and fish & chips under the night sky.. Yes please. 🍕🍟

These two were an absolute dream—proper chilled, so lovely to work with, and clearly just soaking up every second of their day surrounded by their most favourite people.

Danielle & Martyn—thank you for being so lovely, down-to-earth, and just a total pleasure to photograph. What a day. 🤍

What. A. Laugh. No seriously—Lauren has the best laugh you’ll ever hear, and as you can see… she did a lot of it! These two have known each other since primary school, and it’s obvious they were always meant to be—bonded by their love of dogs, travel… and maybe helped along a bit by Jed casually “bumping into” her during her PT sessions in the park. 😅💪

Pulling off an outdoor ceremony and a BBQ reception in the middle of British summertime is no small feat—but Lauren & Jed did it like pros. When the rain threatened? They laughed, threw up some umbrellas, and carried on with style. (Shoutout to guests for using literally anything for cover 😂)

This was my first time shooting at and I’m obsessed. Such a gem of a venue with the loveliest garden nooks—perfect for cozy couple shots and of course… a few with their pups!

When Frankie first got in touch I remember thinking 'blinking heck she's organised' 🤣 as I'm sure it was a good 2+ years before the date! 25.5.25 (Very symmetrical!) Well, time just flies because the day was here before we knew it!

They got married at the always gorgeous which proved to be a wonderful backdrop for a truly stunning day. (And as a bonus we successfully dodged the rain and even got a sunny party out on the lawns!)

The girls getting ready were loads of fun with lots of photo opps, though I did spend most of the day humming ABBA after a few Tiktok attempts 🤣. Frankie had mentioned that she wasn't wearing a traditional dress BUT...oh my...I was officially in love. Best of all, her mum only bloody made it! (And Frankie painted it herself! 🤗) I've also got to give a shout out to the boys... I'm pretty sure that out of well over 100 weddings, these were the first to successfully put their buttonholes on all by themselves 🤣👌

Frankie and Rob were keen to have minimal group shots and get a few couple shots in to make the most of the day, time flies when you're having fun! 100% right up my street. We had a quick whizz round the grounds to get the shots we needed and then headed back to the party! And lastly, I've got to say the speeches are going to take some beating! This year's weddings have set the bar HIGH. Congrats to you both! ###

So, usually 99% of my wedding couples come from referrals, but strangely all 3 of the weddings I photographed in the last couple of weeks haven't. Sarah has put a message on a local FB group looking for a photographer and the wedding was to be at the church that I was christened at and the 'after do' was about 4 doors down from my dad's house at the very cool The Drop Off so it only felt right that I stick my hand up! And...I bloody loved it! Sarah is uber-duber creative; the decor was amazing, from the Lego, the paper flowers, books and bottle centre pieces to the beautiful bouquets. I was in heaven! The whole day had a lovely relaxed family feel, with the flower girls giving me plenty of photo opportunities. It was also lovely to be back at Edenfield Church and Rev Lesley absolutely nailed her first solo wedding. I'm so happy these two chose me as their photographer, it's days like this that make being a wedding photographer an absolute dream. Massive shout out to the new Mr & Mrs Swindlehurst...

First wedding of the year and what an absolute belter! Gorgeous weather, lovely couple, fabulous kids (Freddie is officially the best hymn singer of all time, and little Ivory and her frequently escaping shoe was just adorable) and a colour scheme to die for. ✅

A PROPER PARTY The Barn at Morley’s Hall ♥️

Emily & Jonathan had already tied the knot abroad a couple of weeks earlier, and they were keen to keep the celebrations rolling when they returned – and who could blame them? We caught just enough daylight to create some gorgeous portraits of the duo/ trio before their guests arrived for an unforgettable evening full of laughter, love and a full dance floor.

Prepare for a whole lot of Buddy, plus a few snaps of Emily and Jonathan as they continued their wedding celebrations in style!

The lovely, lovely Abby and Connor at Broadoaks Exclusive Weddings on Friday. Feels like only a few weeks ago that Abby and I met to do a bit of a plan, but over a year later and the day had arrived! The Lake District weather played ball, the venue was gorgeous and Abby and Connor's friends and family were so very lovely. What a day. 🥰
