My first ever gig as a music producer is on 1st June, (one week today) at FLUFF #8 🎹🎶

This sums it up... "Mikey P is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter & producer. He came of age in nightclubs and the surrounding culture during the 1990’s, when he also had a spell as a DJ. He brings a certain nostalgia from that era to his current productions. With many musical aspirations ahead of him (and projects yet to finish!), his first ever gig will be at Fluff #8 and will see him emerge from the realms of bedroom producing to bring to life and debut a series of tracks he recorded and produced around 20 years ago, but never finished…. until recently! All featuring the original recordings he made of the sublimely soulful voice, catchy melodies and songs by Mel .p.free a singer he met in his hometown of Leeds in the 90’s, who went on to feature and tour with This producer style set will jump through different electronic, dance and chillout sonic spaces"

It's upstairs at in Withington and I'm on 2nd out of 4 acts, at 8.30pm.

FLUFF is a night of q***r live electronica conceived by and FLUFF is a platform for q***r electronic music producers (and allies) to perform their music to a live audience (all welcome) ❤

FLUFF is a relaxed, social space where people can mingle and chat between sets, meet friends and make new connections. There will be a bar on the night that also serves soft drinks. We suggest a donation of £5 on the door. (Link in my bio for the Facebook event page for Fluff #8)
