Spring is here! I’ve loved seeing all the first signs of spring and finally feeling the sun on my face. Mood instantly improved ☀️

The daffodils are out, my magnolia tree is on the verge of blooming, and the spring warmth is here. I’m getting excited for all the blossoms to arrive!

I only have availability for TWO more shoots in the last week of March - when all the blossoms will be out. I loved last year’s blossoms and had SO many shoots making the most of them. I will be taking the first couple of weeks of April off for Easter so this is your only chance!

Happy love week 🤍

A little Valentine’s shoot in the studio to spread a little love!

No photo round up this week but my highlights were:

- a last minute change of plans ended up with us in the Lakes which I wasn’t complaining about! Crafty baa, Winnie the Pooh afternoon, mooch, mummy and Marnie brunch, cosy movie afternoon and bento boxes.
- space assembly at school
- siblings catch ups
- more house works happening
- getting Harry Styles tickets 🫶

This half term, I’m taking some time with my little Moose (still editing and delivering in the evenings). But my inbox is still open for any questions and enquiries 🤍

Our third annual shoot in a row for this wonderful family. It started in Didsbury and now in the Lakes, it is wonderful to see little F grow year by year 🤍

The last two years in the Lakes, we’ve really battled the elements but still ended up with a gorgeous gallery! No need for perfect blue skies to capture those precious memories.

My Mother’s Day Mini Shoot booking link went out to those on the priority booking list yesterday and is released to my mailing list at 8pm tonight🤍

1. Marnie’s birthday fit. New tulle dress complete with fairy wings. Heart socks. Super sparkly trainers. She felt like a little princess.
2. party for our girl and her pals. Bonus that it was a silent disco so no overwhelm and actual catch ups for parents (and option to grab a headset and join in!)
3. FAFA. We still say “Fafa” every time we have a family cuddle. It was Marnie’s word for “family” when she was teeny, and it’s just stuck.
4. I love a school update. And seeing the little wonder on M’s face at her science experience was precious. And an after school pic of her new obsession - the Leapfrog Magic Adventures Globe!

My girl turned five 🥹 what a big year it’s been, with finishing nursery, a month in the Lakes soaking up the last pre school days, and starting and thriving through your first school days. And so many big and little adventures in between. We’re so proud of you, little Moose. What a magnetic and magic soul you are 🤍

This shoot pictured was a recent gorgeous studio shoot. You’d never know it was the depths of winter outside when you’re cosied up in here! Five month old baby girl proving your little one doesn’t need to be a newborn or a sitter to get gorgeous photos 🤍

1. Moose turned five 🤍 she was made up waking up to her birthday balloons in her bedroom this year (we’re having work done downstairs which is v exciting and it ended up being a bonus that they were in her room!).
2. Birthday roundup of pancake breakfast, essential Cocoa Canana after school stop off (where M showed every person her birthday certificate and pencil from school), birthday den with pressies and a sushi / edamame / chips feast (menu chosen my M), and a toast at the time of her birth 🫶
3. Sunny winter walks and playtime at RHS.
4. Remember when I kept everything very gender neutral… well M fully leans into being a girly girl and so her pressies were all pink and sparkles - plus an afternoon tea next weekend 🤍 and last weekends K Pop demon hunters party faves.

We’ve only just completed three weeks of 2026?! Wow. I know January usually drags but this is a long one!

This week has seen a lovely return to shooting. I’ve had an in home birthday shoot and two newborns in the studio 🤍

Did you know that if you’re in rush for your photos, there’s the option to pay a rush fee? This doesn’t mean your photos are rushed at all - it just means they are pushed to the front of the queue (and never affects others’ delivery dates). This is often helpful if you’ve got a shoot just before your little one’s birthday and would like the images to use on their actual birthday 🤍 or you just can’t wait! Just let me know before or at your shoot if you’d like this.

1. Post school sushi date with my Moose. We love going out after school from time to time. We do reading and homework, we catch up about our days (it’s the cutest thing when Marnie asks me how my shoot was or what I’d been up to that day - feels so grown up from my almost five year old!), colour and share some nice food.
2. A late walk around Chorlton Water Park with a coffee, ending in a gorgeous sunset and food at Tibetan Kitchen. 10/10.
3. Technically a work photo but it felt so good to be back shooting. I felt so sad about shoots that had to be postponed or shot by an associate whilst I was recovering. So being back to real life was lovely!
4. Totoro has been very clingy lately - sometimes a little annoyingly so I have to admit 😅 but nothing beats a cosy purring cat on your lap whilst editing!

The rest of my winter diary and early spring diary is booking up! So if you’re thinning its cosy winter session or looking ahead to those bright spring days filled with blossoms, don’t delay getting in touch 🤍

I really really loved this shoot I did last month with a beautiful little early Christmas present for this wonderful family 🎁

The studio is the perfect cosy space for photos in all weather 🤍

The last slide is some highlights of the week. Youngest sibs birthday celebration of brunch and games 🎲Cinema date with the wee one - obligatory babyccino in hand (she’s five at the end of the month - how much longer can we get away with babyccinos?! I’m amazed they’ve lasted this long!) ☕️ A beautiful, sunny and frosty National Trust walk ❄️

Work wise has been all about the editing and prep for upcoming shoots - including Mothers Day Minis! Finally back to being able to shoot tomorrow (after the longest illness and post fatigue!) - I’m excited 🤍

I’m starting a new series with a post a week with some images from a shoot followed by a little round up of our week 🤍

It’s an appalling start on the personal update front as we’ve all been recovering still from the illness that wiped us out post Christmas (and pre-Christmas for me!).

So it’s just been about low key walks, lots of movies, managed to get to our NCT 5th birthday party (love that this is still going strong), back to school, new fridge excitement (this officially means I’m old right?), and little gadgets that make my chaotic brain work a little better.

Hopefully next week will be a little more exciting!

On a more positive note, this shoot from just before Christmas was so cute. Little 8 month old smiley babe and his parents at one of their fave spots. Even though Fletcher Moss was mostly flooded, we still ended up with a beautiful gallery full of love 🤍

I love watching families grow in front of my camera. I first did a shoot for this wonderful family nearly two years ago - three shoots and another gorgeous baby later, and their autumn shoot was beautiful, full of colour and easy smiles.
