ove and can picture yourself being in. Your photographer should be as excited about your wedding as you are. That’s why I’d love to hear all about your big day. Getting to know your photographer is essential so here are a couple of things about me. I live in Manchester with my wife Kirsty and our dog, Samson, I play the guitar and I love live music, travelling and a good, strong cup of tea. (No sugar, thanks.) Although I am based in Manchester, I shoot all across the UK and, if you are getting hitched abroad, no worries. I also do destination weddings. Like I said, I love to travel. I also tend to overuse Smileys and the word ‘Awesome’

Photographing a couple on their wedding day is a massive honour and I’m really chuffed that you are considering me to shoot your wedding. Thanks. I started my adventure into the wonderful world of wedding photography as a bag carrier and then second shooter for an amazingly well respected and experienced wedding photographer. As a second shooter, it was my job to capture the candid moments at the wedding. The cheeky kiss while you think nobody is looking. The laugh till you cry moments that really tell the story of your day. That is why I love to incorporate the natural, documentary style of photography into your day mixed with epic, relaxed portraits. Nothing cheesy. Ever!! The best compliment I have received at a wedding was, “You’re like a ninja with a camera.” How awesome. I might not break out the nunchucks or do backflips but I will sneak around to get some awesome shots while people are unaware and just acting naturally. Also, climbing walls and rolling on the floor to get the best angles is right up my street. Nothing makes me happier than when I’m shooting a wedding. Seriously, it’s amazing. The emotions are crazy and I just love being there to capture it. People are most themselves at their wedding (especially after a few glasses of bubbly) and by documenting the day as it happens, you end up with a beautiful set of natural images jam-packed full of awesomeness. Plus, I love a good buffet. Being a full-time wedding photographer means that I can devote 100% of my time to my couples and because I only take on a limited number of bookings per year, I can be extra sure that my clients get the service that they deserve.
