It's not everyday you get to photograph the Universe! Currently on show as part of the "Constellations" exhibition in Chester Cathedral, this amazing piece is by Chorlton artist MakeMosaic by Tracey Cartledge. We shot it in my kitchen using natural light and it kept on changing throughout the day, much like the real thing!

Like many other things, it's felt as if the stock photo market has died over the last year, so it was a nice surprise to find that I'd had a bottle of wine sized sale with this photo of London's Royal Exchange building. It's a totally unremarkable shot, until you see that perched high above it is a golden grasshopper!

This is an old Barcelona photo of mine, now being used as the cover for a book on the Spanish Civil War. I was told it showed the bullet-scarred walls of the Church of St. Felip Neri, which was used by Franco's forces as a place of ex*****on. There's also another suggestion that it was the result of an aerial bombardment in which 42 children were killed. Either way it's been left as it is by the Catalans as a reminder of the past conflict.
