Who is she?! Yes blink and you may miss it but this really is me!

Sorry for the hiatus but this year has been a funny old beast. The world seems to be doing us all a bit crazy and I’ve had to take a step back and assess what’s important in life. I’ve still been working but I needed to step away from my device for a while. It’s helped me to refocus and reconnect.

Whilst the world is still in chaos I’m learning to advocate and stand up for what I believe in without compromising what I’ve worked so hard for over the last 10 years.

I love my job, my couples and the outlet of creativity that wedding photography gives me. And so I’m back. I don’t know how often I’ll post but I’m going to show up more and I’d love your support whilst I try and claw my way through the algorithm puzzle.

My last wedding of 2024 was a serene, elegant and intimate affair with the very lovely Sharron and Martin.

We started off the day in beautiful Uppermill before heading into Manchester to say their I do’s at the registry office and then continuing the celebrations at the wonderful Hotel Gotham.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I get told so often from my couples that one or both parties really don’t enjoy having their photos taken. This was the case here… but look at what can be achieved with a bit of direction and some PDA’s. I’m in love with how Sharron went from turning her back to my camera at the start of the day to beaming with confidence by the end!

I got film scans back from my beautiful friend’s glorious wedding in Lake Garda.

To say this wedding was off the charts is an understatement! From the surprise boat pick up and subsequent drop off at an incredible venue on an island to all of the delicious food and the glorious company, it was a day never to be forgotten! I will never get over that the venue was a complete surprise 🤍
