Been a while.....

Finally getting back into it now life is settling down. Had to send some film for processing which I've only ever done once before right at the beginning of my journey, but with the massive price increase and scarcity of Tetenal chemicals it seemed the best option. Going off recommendations, I went with AG Photolab in the UK and what a service! Film's posted Monday and back with me for scanning on Wednesday, all at a very reasonable price.

Sat in my fridge for over a year this roll.

Absolutely loved getting back out and composing these types of shot. Some of my favourite aspects in one; geometric architecture, abandoned buildings and nature reclaiming what was once hers.

Creativity been massively stifled with getting a second eviction notice this year. Got a pile of film to develop but not had the physical space and head space to tackle it, but finally made a start. First time using CineStill 800 and not a petrol pump in sight! Been sat on this since February, eager to see what it came out like. Taken at the back of the Native Hotel, Manchester.

Fond memories as a kid watching this in use for the daily ferries in Fleetwood, but since slowly dwindled away to nothing and now lies dormat.

As first attempts go, I'm absolutely over the moon with these!😁
Finally got my darkroom setup and made my first real prints last night, stayed up till 02:00 even though was up for work at 05:30!
I thought developing your own film was satisfying but this is next level, if you're thinking about doing it, do it.....

510 Pyro negatives printed on 9.5 x 12 inch Ilford MGRC Pearl paper, developed/stopped/fixed with Fotospeed chemicals.

Big thanks to James Lane at Zone Imaging Lab for selling his beloved enlarger and all the advice along the way 🙌
