Great to see Wacky Wabbit back at Barton for passenger Warbird experience flight again this last week, the passenger in this flight, really enjoyed herself. Not surprised, I bet it is a great experience. The Covington R-1340 radial engine sounds so good.

Finally managed to bag this absolute stunner on her second visit to Barton. Now based in the Isle of Man. What an amazing looking and sounding aeroplane.

Z516, ZZ377 and ZZ413 AgustaWestland AW159 Wildcat HMA.2 825 Naval Air Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, RNAS Yeovilton.

'TALON Formation' seen here departing Barton after an RRR heading south from Prestwick after exercising up there these last couple of weeks . Light was awful, standard stuff, still great to see at the local. Probably not my best videography.

N4334Y de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver (U-6A) Private.

An absolutely mega movement at Barton today, gutted I missed it arriving as the light would have been way better. But managed to battle the awful Friday traffic to get there for it departing. Built in 1959 as an L-20 for the USA Army, then redesignated as a U-6A in 1962. What an absolute beast of an aircraft and an incredible movement for here.

She arrived in the UK in January this year after a mega cross states venture from Seattle to Florida for disassembly and shipping to the UK. She is now based at Turweston.

Vortex 596 an 18 Squadron Chinook HC.6A, seen departing Barton, this afternoon after an RRR for cab and crew. The light let us down but how good does that sound. Loving this new RODE Videomic II

ZH897 Boeing-Vertol Chinook HC.5, 18 Squadron, RAF Odiham, Royal Air Force.

Vortex 558 an 18 Squadron Chinook HC.5, seen departing Barton after an RRR for cab and crew. This cab came up from the Derwent / Ladybower area. Doing the opposite on her route back south a couple of hours later.

Nice to see a fat Chinook here again, even better to finally get one in the sunshine.

ZH900 Boeing-Vertol Chinook HC.5, 27 Squadron, RAF Odiham, Royal Air Force.

Vortex 427 dropped in for a refuel in the drizzle before departing to Valley. A quick video of the departure after it had gone properly dark, it got very windy, very quickly. Got to love a HC.5

16-5862 Lockheed Martin MC-130J Commando II 27th Special Operations Wing / 9th Special Operations Squadron 'Night Wings', Cannon Air Force Base, United States Air Force.

'TIPSY 22' an unmarked 9th SOS 'Night Wings' bird seen landing on runway 30 at Prestwick yesterday for a fuel and go stop en route back to the states after operations on Epic Fury.

We only stayed for the first four of these, as they were all unmarked so were identical, but all four had the Silent Knight terrain following radar mods, something that I had not shot before. Smart looking bits of kit.
