Yes, platforms like Facebook, TikTok and Instagram provide opportunities for viral content. However, it won't happen without a strategy.

Main skills you will be need to master:

Story telling
- the same post can be super boring, or bring you a sale. It is about wording, copywritting, and attention.

Research
- Knowing where to look and what to type to see what people search on your platform

Video Editing
- Still need to be visually pleasing

Consistency
- Especially for 9-5 professionals this will be a hardcore to maintain

Engagement
- Same as above

How to make your posts & videos more "personal"?

Say 3 things which are a part of your personality & add them to your videos

Are you funny, languages savvy, can explain things easily, math lover, have an accent, cool hobby, cute dog, etc….

If you struggle, ask yourself:

What did someone complimented me about recently?

What is it that your friends come to you for a help with?

5 Hacks for cool Short Videos, even if you have never made any before.

1) Strong hook:

Hook is initial 1-3secs of the video. If it is weak, not inviting & boring, people will scroll over.

Examples of proven hooks:

X, Listen up
Here is my Go-To X for Y
Wanna know X Secret to Y?
X changed recently and it ....
How to do X using 1 simole hack
***Alert! Game Changer for Your X

2. Less words, better:

Write bullet points in front of you, so you don't lose a track.

Imagine every word you say costs you £50.

Now delete all excess words which don't bring a value.

3. Phone position:

If you can, record each small block of information from a different angle.

Samsung has a cool option to pause in the middle of the video & carry on recording.

If you record from eye level, side, on the couch, in the kitchen,.... around the house, you will have a dynamic video

Use a Tripod & Phone holder (see my BIO link)

4. Captions:
People watch videos on the go in a silence, so this is the must.

"Captions" app with a purple icon (on Apple store) is the current hot app for for creators

5. AI is your assistant:

Utilise ChatGPT or Jasper.ai to DRAFT you ideas, but always use your own words & add extra bits to show it is you.

Otherwise you will sound like everyone else.

PART 1: My struggles as woman-creator & how I fight with them:


1) "MALE CUSTOMERS NOT THINKING ABOUT A BUSINESS"

Men sometimes don't see me as a business woman & video creator, rather a date or a fun girl.

I had a case when a customer arrived to record a podcast ....... with a bag full of condoms.

I recall the same situation as a dance teacher, when I wanted to get some videos/photos done to promote my classes, when a photographer told me he watches my videos during the night (you know why).

Also I considered wearing a burka, but I am respecting its culture & meaning, so believe this is not a right reason.

Quite often, I ask my ex to join me during recordings when I am sensing the need for a security (we have the best business relationship ever).
