I’ve been going through the work I made during university and managed to find a selection of portraits I’d never posted before, so here ya go! I made these right at the start of university with my best mate Shaniece, who is always a wonder to work with.

Bit late to the party but…I GRADUATED!!

University was an amazing 3 years, it's really hard to believe it's already over. I met some of my favourite people ever who are stuck with me for life now. I learnt so much and I discovered where I want to go as a photographer. My final project, “Macabre”, was definitely my favourite project to work on over my 3 years at university, and it has really stuck with me since I handed it all in, so I do believe we haven't seen the end of that project yet. (and yes, that is Princess Anne you can see)

"Macabre" Final Piece

“Macabre” is a collection of works that explores the horror genre. It draws inspiration from my favourite horror movies and posters, such as “Alien” and “Don’t Breathe." While taking cues from films such as “Alien”, where the face-hugger latches onto a person, as well as the classic horror scenario of someone screaming while covered in blood, the main theme throughout this collection is examining the fear of the unknown, the fear of death, and what lurks in the shadows. This work was created to express my love for the horror franchise through my photography and to produce pieces that differ from my standard practice.
