As your photographer, I guarantee that you will be pleased with the high quality in the pictures you receive. I shoot all my own work and do not hire out assistants to cover my assignments.

We had a wonderful experience with Lukas from Smooth Pictures!

Originally, we’d planned on taking a few family portraits and some photos in our wedding attire with my husband’s grandparents. Somewhere along the way, that turned into a family photo session instead.

Lukas was incredibly easy to get along with and both my husband’s grandparents and my mother absolutely adored him. He was also more than happy to go with the flow as our afternoon took us from Cusworth Hall to my husband’s grandparents’ home and then to Brodsworth Hall. Every time I spotted another place I thought would make a good backdrop, he was happy to oblige. I’m fairly certain we ended up taking quite a few more photos than we’d originally planned!

The photos turned out beautifully and we’re so glad we had the opportunity to capture these moments with our family. One of my favorite things to come out of the afternoon was a portrait of my husband’s grandparents. They told us it was the first good photo they’d had taken together in decades and loved it so much that they now have an 8x10 framed copy hanging in their living room.

I think that probably says more about Lukas and his work than any review I could write. We’re so pleased with the photos and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer!

**What a day! **

Not one, but **two incredible events in York!**

The day began with an engagement shoot with Holly and Ishaan, exploring some of York’s most iconic locations. The weather was kind to us, and the people of York cheered them on as we walked through the city, making the whole experience even more special!

We then headed to The Ivy for a very special celebration, where Holly was welcomed with so many beautiful gifts from her new family. It was such a lovely moment to be part of!

And just when I thought the day couldn’t get any more special, it was time for another York wedding — this time celebrating David and Ann at York Registry Office, a place that is starting to feel like a second home to me! ❤️

The celebrations continued with a reception at the beautiful Clementine Hotel, surrounded by love, laughter and so many wonderful moments.

I’m honestly still speechless. Two beautiful events, two incredible couples, so many emotions, and a day full of memories I’ll never forget.

When you enquire about wedding photography or any other type of photoshoot, and we take the time to reply, answer your questions and send over our prices, please take a moment to let us know if it's not quite what you're looking for or if we're a little outside your budget.

Even a simple “thank you for getting back to me” goes a long way. 😊

I completely understand that you might be speaking to several photographers, comparing prices or simply have a busy life. That's absolutely fine! But please remember that behind every small photography business is a real person taking time out of their day to respond to your enquiry.

We're not robots sitting behind a screen. We have families, work, weddings to photograph, photos to edit and businesses to run, too.

Being left without a reply after taking the time to help is becoming far too common, and honestly, a little acknowledgement would make such a difference.

What a brilliant afternoon in Doncaster!

Heather, Kieran and the family made the most of the sunshine with a lovely pre-wedding and family shoot, visiting not one but two beautiful stately homes — Cusworth Hall and Brodsworth Hall.

The weather couldn’t have been better, the locations were stunning, and there were plenty of genuine, relaxed moments to capture along the way.

Days like this are exactly why I love what I do.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Olivia and Matthew.

The church ceremony was absolutely lovely, filled with happy moments, beautiful singing and plenty of emotion. It was then followed by a wonderful reception at the Treebridge Hotel in Middlesbrough.

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Oliver! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.
