My photographic portfolio includes documentation of my recent trips to Asia & Africa by capturing the colour, character and culture of Sri Lanka, India, Japan & East Africa. I studied graphic design at the Cardiff Institute of Higher Education and Illustration at the University of Plymouth in Exeter, before gaining UK recognition as a freelance illustrator, working primarily in black & white scraperboard for numerous editorial, publishing & advertising clients. Photography, however, was my true passion since teenage years in the mid 80’s where I first fell under the spell of photography and pursued photographic studies at both Cardiff & Exeter art colleges, focusing on film photography, studio and dark room techniques.
