... I love when couples share a little kiss during a session (don't worry, it's not compulsory!) because it’s what happens afterwards that creates the sweetest photos — her bashful giggle, the way he looks at her, those real moments.
.. and how lovely that their daughter will grow up with those images of mum and dad to look back on. Just a couple of people goofing around, in love, choosing to do life together.
.. I know when I’ve looked at old pictures of my parents, it often reminded me that they were young once too. It’s easy to forget that — to forget they were figuring things out as they went while raising a family, just as we are.
.. time moves so quickly. You just blink and suddenly you’re an adult, and it feels like only yesterday I was sat in my front room eating a huge bowl of chocolate weetos (with as much milk as I could fit!) while watching "Sister, Sister" on TV.

... the look of love and "wow is this my big brother? He seems like fun!" As he comes in for a cuddle, he was so full of life! But so gentle when he was around his little sister.
.. and the sweet moments of him pouncing and cuddling his mum are some of my favourites from this session, because their world just changed too.

... you deserve to remember this moment, to remember what your body could do and what you went through emotionally and physically, because it takes all of you.
.. but you deserve to remember this for your children, especially your daughters, who may one day walk this path themselves. Remind them that we were once young, learning and growing alongside them—just as they will one day do too.

... have you even had a toddler if you haven't just about "cheers'd" everything and anything! This moment needed it's own spot!
.. I love how particular she was picking "the chosen one" when collecting stones it really took my back down memory lane from when my kids were little (I'm totally fine! 🥹)
.. and the toddler crouch is just adorable isn't it! But also a total reality check, my toes and I are barely on speaking terms anymore! 😅

​... I wonder how many stones ended up in everyone's pocket after this session ... or should I say in the washing machine! 🤭

... they had me at "we're high school sweethearts"! I mean, need I say more? Give me a sweet story about you, your family, or how you met, and I’m already picturing it as the next big cinema hit! Lol.
.. this session really was just so sweet—whether it was collecting flowers, spinning on Dad’s shoulders, stuffing little treasures into Mum’s pocket, or collecting stones and clinking them together while saying "cheers." Then Mum laughing as she tried for a kiss from her littlest (but settling for an Eskimo kiss instead), we all know: a toddler will do what a toddler will do! But it ALL made for such beautiful memories of where they are right now.

P.S. I still love the moment big sister hawks her sister up—nearly as big as her!—but manages to carry her down, their little faces lighting up as she pulls it off. Girlhood! ✌🏼
