We weren’t sure if we’d ever share something like this again.
Truthfully, we’ve spent the last year or so quietly questioning whether this chapter of our lives had come to a natural end. Not because we’d fallen out of love with photography…but because sometimes life takes you in different directions. Sometimes you wonder if it’s time to put down the camera and explore other dreams you wanted to chase.
Then Priya called.
We met Priya when she was just 12 years old. A little girl watching us capture the love stories within her family — watching us freeze time for her cousins, her aunts, her uncles, her friends.
Even then, she told us: “When it’s my turn, I want you to capture my wedding.”
All these years later, she kept her promise to herself.
And when she asked us, even though we were standing on the edge of stepping away, how could we say no? How could we turn away from something so meaningful?
Being there on her wedding day… capturing her joy, her laughter, her love story unfolding beneath wisteria and sunlight… it reminded us of something we’d almost forgotten:
This is more than a job.
It’s a privilege. It’s a responsibility.
It’s about connection, trust, and leaving behind something that will outlive us all.
This image means more than we can explain. It’s not just Priya & Ivan. It’s a reminder that stories matter. That love deserves to be captured with care. That moments like these are why we picked up a camera in the first place.
We’re not done yet…
