I chatted to emma and Rob before the day for pretty long time, loved learning about their priorities. They were saying how importat for them people are and for everyone to have best time. With fabulous the courtyard venue and great team of supliers everyone had brilliant day. Personal ceremony, dogs, pies, band, garden gaames , sunshine and just a lovely bunch of humans having a really good time together.

This review made me smile because it talks about something I deeply care about.
People often think wedding photography is about finding the perfect wedding photographe but most of the time it’s about finding someone you feel comfortable enough with to simply be yourself.

Very into this idea of starting the party before the evening party.
The time after food is a bit of wierd one at times. Cocktail hour? ( yes pls, great idea especially with espresso martinis)
Outdoor dancing before actuall dancing? Also win! Outdoor ganes? Sure!
Safe to say these two filled this time fantasticly with Oompa band. It kept energy high ready for THE PARTY.
That weird in between bit does not have to be weird.

My wonderful bride had genius idea creating " Thank you" wedding newspaper! What a fab way to acknowledge all guests amd supliers involved in the day, share the story and showcase yoir photos!
I belive she did it in Canva and maybe it wasn't super simple but definitely worth the time!

Firts dances, fun dances, summer vibe, great people and great entertainment!
There is nothing like live music, especially one which brings incredible energy. I will always recommend live element to the wedding, band, bongo, sax player or similar. And where possible- get outside!

They didn’t book me for pretty photos.
They booked us because they didn’t want to feel " photographed " all day. And they wanted to enjoy their day having meaningful memories captured with their favourite people.

Documentary and natural wedding photography was important to them.
Candid moments with their people, emotions and their unique wedding day story.

I thought I am gonna have to go to Ireland to get taste of Irish wedding but on Saturday Anna & Greg brought taste of Ireland to my very local Clifton Arms wedding in Lytham! Greg's family must have had whole plane from Ireland. The loveliest people, the best atmosphere, great music, fab food is all exactly why I love photographing relaxed documentary weddings across Lancashire, Lake District ,Yorkshire and whole UK realy! Woop woop🥳 Yesterday we found out we are number thirteen in the world and number eight in the UK with plus nineteenth for storytellers.
We are so greatfull not only for this recognition but for people who make it possible in first place. This is Reportage has one clear message "Nothing posed and nothing staged - This is Reportage " and we absolutely love it! We are so passionate about real and authentic photography, moments, connections, presence.
These awards mean a lot because they celebrate the best unposed wedding photography and not only single images but full stories that run through the whole day. They are incredibly hard to win!
