I love working with couples, families and individuals; photographing them in a relaxed and natural way that captures them and their occasion in the way that is both fun and comfortable. hire Wolds in the Georgian market town of Louth, I’m fortunate to be surrounded by many beautiful locations to use as a natural backdrop for my images. I love getting out and about with my clients; whether it’s during an engagement photoshoot or wedding, a family session where pets are welcome too or a special occasion such as a baby naming or christening. I have always found that when my subject is relaxed and comfortable in natural outdoor surroundings, that’s when the magic happens and the very best images are captured. It’s amazing how many times my clients see their photographs and say, “I didn’t even know you’d taken that one.”
My photography takes me to so many places and I especially love being able to share in a couple’s wedding day. I consider being entrusted with capturing their most special of days as a real privilege. It’s always wonderful to shoot at new, fresh venues and I have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. For me, capturing details are important and I pride myself in not only spotting moments but also the details that are so easily forgotten during a special occasion. I’m happy to travel to capture the moments in my client’s life which are most important to them. As well as having the pleasure to work with my clients to create images that are tailored to their requirements for their wedding, naming ceremonies and family photoshoots; I also have a wealth of experience in other areas of photography. My clients include businesses, individuals and organisations. I have photographed theatrical and dance performances, actor headshots, publicity images and formal groupings for clubs and societies. When I head out with my camera bag in my hand, my main aim to help my client tell their story. There is nothing more fulfilling to me than to give someone a peak at the images of their photoshoot and read their immediate reactions, followed by having the satisfaction of seeing their faces in person when they see their finished photographs. I always work with my clients to find out what they're looking for from their photographic experience. Sometimes they have a particular 'look' in mind. Sometimes they need images for a certain use. Whatever the need for their images, I pride myself in working closely with them to create photographs that tell a story ... from pre-wedding photoshoots, to arrivals of newborns to photo sessions involving all generations of the family. In an age when almost everyone has a smartphone and when great-quality cameras are becoming more and more affordable; everyone feels like they're a photographer.
