All About The Fight - Going The Distance

Just before Christmas I was back at Arena Theatre with Sterran Dance to photograph the latest full production of this powerful work. 2023 was pretty tough on the creative side, but I finished the year with a couple of amazing projects.

Nerdy photographer note on this one, I knew it would be tough to photograph, as it’s really fast paced and a lot of the piece has low lighting. As I knew I could be on the space for this dress run I switched my usual zoom lenses for 50mm and 85mm prime lenses. This worked really well and produced images that hopefully do this work justice.
