Steam cranes are an often overlooked part of railway preservation, but many heritage railways still regularly put them to use doing the job they were built for.

Taylor and Hubbard DS58 of 1955, can often be seen on various duties at The Watercress Line, and is seen here removing superheater elements from class S15 506.
