She was wonderful to work with, she was as good as gold and not a peep from her.

I just love how squishy she is in the pose with her dress on, and those little toes in her wrapped pose.

Jade's Law has been passed but it hasn't been implemented yet so judges around the country cant use it. So they are asking as much people as they can to sign this letter.

Whats it for:
Simply to shield children from the influence of the person who murdered their parent. So they dont get to decide who has the children, what schools they go to, what holidays they can take and everything in between.

Keep trying if you cant get it to work. The sheer number of people trying to sign so it might take a few trys

Like most of our city yesterday I spent it in complete shock, deep sadness and devastation when I heard the news about beautiful Amy.

I cant stop thinking about those poor babies who have been so cruelly left without their mother. Families ripped apart that will never recover. Her home where she’s suppose to feel safe in, never the same again.

I met Amy when she came in for some photos and again when she was one of my competition winners of the 10 year draw. She was excited to use the prize for some r&r.

My mind thinks back to those little babies, carefree running around the studio having fun and now left without their mum, their safe place, their whole world.

If you are in a domestic abusive relationship please know my studio is a safe place to call on if you need help. You can tell them your pricing photos. My door is always open and so are my messages. You are not alone and you never have to suffer in silence!

Amy I am so sorry this happened to you. Shine your beautiful light on everyone who needs it and wrap your arms around those beautiful babies of yours as well as your friends and family who try to navigate this world now without you in it 💔

Motherhood isn’t just one story — and today I’m thinking of every single one of them. 🤍

To the mums with babies in their arms, the mums running on coffee and cuddles, the mums guiding grown children, and the mums doing it all quietly behind the scenes — today is for you 🌸.

But I also want to take a moment to acknowledge the mums for whom today feels heavy. The mums carrying grief😢, the mums missing their own mothers, the mums who have lost a child, the mums longing to become one, and the mums navigating complicated journeys. Please know that you are seen too. 🤍

As a photographer, I have the privilege of witnessing so many beautiful moments of motherhood — the love, the chaos, the tenderness, and the strength. Every story matters, and every mother’s journey deserves to be honoured.
