The original rebels, activists, mavericks. My folks met through Friends of the Earth in Cardiff. They were growing organic veg before the term ‘organic’ became cool. They taught me to question the man, think for myself and mind the environment. I try my best; it’s not always easy. It was great to stand beside them today.

A wander through the gorgeous followed by flicking through cool vinyl in and a wee sup in made me realise how brilliant this city is. These two get married in October and if yesterday was anything to go by, it’s going to be great craic! Ag dúil go mór leis a chairde x
