Hi, I’m Mark, a landscape and cityscape photographer based in London Uk
Photography has given me a unique way of seeing the world, and despite being blind in one eye, I love capturing the beauty of Britain’s coastlines, cities and landscapes.

πŸŒ… Golden Hour at Greenwich

There’s something truly special about watching the last light of the day fall across London’s historic skyline.

The magnificent Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, bathed in warm golden light, with soft pastel skies stretching across the River Thames.

I wanted to capture not just the beauty of this iconic London landmark, but also the peaceful atmosphere of a moment when everything seemed to stand still.

Sometimes, photography is simply about being in the right place, at the right time, and appreciating the beauty around us.

Brighton West Pier

I’ve been revisiting some older work recently and came back to this long-exposure photograph of Brighton’s West Pier.

I wanted the sea to become almost completely still so the old structure and the foreground posts could stand out against the softer background.

Still one of those locations I never get tired of photographing.

London, softened by time.

Long exposures have a way of changing the city smoothing the Thames, stretching the clouds, and making even familiar architecture feel a little quieter.

This one came from my archive, and I’ve really enjoyed revisiting it with fresh eyes.

What draws you in first the skyline or the movement in the sky?

A little slice of British life πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

I really love this photograph. The two red telephone boxes first caught my attention, but the passing gentleman and perfectly placed pigeon brought the whole scene together. One of those moments when timing makes the picture.

What catches your eye first?

A split second on the Southbank, with the London eye framing the ride.

Sometimes street photography is simply about being in the right place and waiting for everything to line up.

London Through the Mist

Chelsea Bridge and Battersea Power Station glowing through a misty London evening. I loved how the soft light and reflections transformed the Thames.

Time softened the sea, but the old timbers remained.

I created this long exposure to capture the quiet movement of the water around these weathered coastal defencesβ€”a peaceful moment beside the sea.

Today was all about learning to fly my drone in the park.

I’m still getting used to the controls and trying to keep every movement slow and smooth. There were a few nervous moments, but each flight gave me a little more confidence.

It’s a completely new way of seeing the landscape and I’m looking forward to discovering where it takes my photography next.
